Quick Art Thread
As the name suggests, this is the Quick Art Thread.
The main goal of this thread is to pretty much help people improve and draw more, you don't have to draw for long but I recommend at least 1 hour worth of drawing (cummulative or not) minimum. That doesn't mean each pic has to be an hours worth of work, it could easily be 2 pictures that both took 30mins. You get the idea, try to set a goal and deadline if you want.
General rules:
Have fun, this isn't a heavy topic, just draw whatever the hell you want.
No heavy critiques or comments - No point having a couple of good pics and the rest are just people saying how good it is. Less talk more drawing!
No pornographic material, nudity is allowed but it has to be tasteful, probably in link form as well.
So, with those ground rules set, just draw whatever, try to draw at least once a day. I realise at the time of making this it's new years/post xmas so I don't expect a lot of responses, but I will bump this topic come January if there aren't any replies =P
Anyway, to start us off some of my quick drawings I did today.
Random: Time Spent: 10mins on line art and 10mins on colours

Touhou Stuff
Alice: Time Spent: 5mins on line art and 20 mins on colours

Suika: Time Spent: 10mins on line art and 10 mins on colours

Yuyuko: Time Spent: 15mins on line art, 20 mins on colours, 1 min searching for brushes and 5 mins on background

A couple more I did this morning. Trying/expanding on a style I like.
Original
Kaiserin: Time Spent, line art 30mins (mind block =\), colours, 10mins

Kaiserin 2: Time Spent, line art 20mins, crosshatching, 20mins (then a further 10mins waiting for PS to crash and recover)

Will probably do more later depending on if I get something(s)

I like the idea, not sure how many people will actually draw anything here. The yuyuko piece is awesome, I love the flow of the art and colors in that.
So here's my contribution took about 30 minutes total for both (Yeah I know, I can't read apparently.) I really need to draw more consistently (and therefore better at bodies) or not at all, I know.

those drawings are great!!i love the idea of quick art!
well i didn't time myself but it couldn't have taken more than an hour ...and it's the first time i've sketched something digitaly...

I love the one that Alexiala did the most (it's too good for a sketch!) and some of the other arts above too ^_^
-
About an hour or so...
Here's a sketch I did for the ART DUEL (Silver Stuff) contest. Took about an hour, but then I refined it here and there a bit. Next step is tracing it in Illustrator.

Just to clear things up abit, there IS no time limit or minimum time required. It's completely up to you, I just recommended that you draw for at least an hour (the real minimum is 3 hours a day but that's a lot to ask, even for me most times). Remember the more you draw the better you get.
So, don't worry about the pictures not being an hours worth or the picture just being slightly under. It's totally up to you.

Not quite sure how long exactly this took, a lot of distractions in between. It took long enough that my attention span ran out though.

Ulmega-COR: Longer then an hour, less then 2 hours.

Took me about 50 seconds... inserted the "the" so it would be harder to google the culprit.
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends
