by da way.. meeerrry christmassssssssssssssssss!!!!!!
Great drawings (can't really crit right now) but the most interesting thing is your scanner, how the hell did it get that prism like effect when you scan stuff in?
i use my cellphone cam to take the pics.. maybe the lights in my home give that effect :D
my latest pic for x-mas!!
You've got some nice angles and detail there. However, the lines you use on your clothing are too simplistic... and that's where a lot of detail is lost. You need to practice drawing folded cloth to make the material look more like cloth. You can draw figures pretty darn well - just take a little more time to work on what they're wearing. It's a painstaking detail, but it's worth it.
yup. like u said.. i'm not really good at drawing clothes.. haha.. i got no sense of fashion at all :D
thanks 4 the advice!! i'm gonna work on it more hehe ;)
Was just curious about your comment regarding using your "hp" to upload your artwork -- what other computer do you use? Hoping to find a fellow mac user somewhere here :)
woot.. i'm not a mac user :D
i am going to make a manga for a competition this year
so.. this is the sketch for 2 of my main characters
i am going to post the sketch for the manga to get comments and ideas but i afraid that someone will steal my manga and use it in the same competition that i am in :( .
*must finish drawing this before 14/5 coz i need to go to the university then :p . my 6 months holiday is going to be over >_>
It looks like you have a habit of drawing really small-ish. I've known some artists that started off that way too, but eventually they had to move on by drawing bigger and with more detail. Small just doesn't flow as well.
I think drawing small is a good way to brainstorm for your manga, but at some point I think it would really help you to pick one of them and make a large, clean, detailed, and flowing drawing. You will notice many quircks you haven't noticed before in your artistic sense, and probably improve in leaps and bounds.
