For manga, I like Yuki Yoshiyama (Mushishi), Urasawa Naoki, and from what I've seen of it the artwork in Berserk is really good. I also love artwork like that of Eureka 7, really clean and fresh.

I love Rembrandt and Caravaggio. Rembrandt's The Syndics of the Clothmaker's Guild (1662) is absolutely gorgeous when seen in person. (That's what really converted me.)

Thats why I love Dali's crucifiction so much it was in a museum not too far away from where I live and I got to see it properly when I was young, from the top down rather than hanging on a wall.

I've always been captivated by Van Gogh's sunflowers. Also, one way or another Miro's art has managed to call my attention. I also appreciate the uniqueness in Rembrandt's work. Michelangelo is just magnificent. Alexandros of Antioch has a special place for the Venus de Milo, that's just the immortal embodiment of the beauty that women represent in this life.

So many good artists that I don't feel correct to choose a few amongst all of them.

OMG!!!! I love this picture! My art teacher in 9th grade showed me once and I was so drawn into it. My first impression when I saw it was "wow, the picture is so awesome! those melting clock are great, and bla bla bla...".....I forgot his name though, but now you mention him, I remember. His works are really great too.
