I wouldn't call him the best, I haven't seen any really good examples of shading with him, but his artwork does have some real beauty to it.

For manga style, I like Tsuda Mikiyo, Saenagi Ryou, and Tanemura Arina... xD

I really like Le Corbusier's artworks. I know it may seem weird, but models of his designs drew me to architecture in the first place... and now I'm interested in other architectural designs. Frank Gehry is really famous now, and I really like the style of the buildings he's designed. They're not full of glass - the new thing these days... *sigh* - and I find them rather innovative (according to Wikipedia, he may have been inspired by one of Le Corbusier's pieces. xD). And I can't forget Antonio Gaudi... I've seen some of his buildings in Barcelona and they're so pretty. :3 In a rather unique way.

Oh, and after seeing an exhibit on a few years of Andy Warhol's art period, I can't help but admire him, too, for being innovative, creative, and a pure genius. I'm not really a fan of modern art but there's a kind of darkness about his art that intruiges me.

I haven't seen much of Dali's art; must make a note of finding more to see. ^_^

    As for my favorite artists:

Bansky a British Graffiti artist is easily on my list. Criminal? Artist? http://www.banksy.co.uk
For Manga, Katsuhiro Otomo, the creator of Akira is tops for me.
