I'm voting for tetnibus, because i like the way the border is made, and the colors are nice.
I can't really tell what the image is, but in a way, that just makes the avatar as a whole look even better.

Talamare's Gif and Sperm's are not that bad at all, but sperm could have done better, I barely see what's going on.

CoS and Hisoka's pull me in the most, If Talamare's had more suttlety to it, [maybe a fade] then i would have liked it more.

My opinions!
First off Hisoka: I like the way you used part of the image creatively, takes a good eye and graphic sense to wanna pull that off, quite a risky move but it works well, good use of type as well.
Spermworm: I'm not sure about the stars and the black lace thing, I've seen your sigs and stuff and I know you can do better.
Talamare: I like the animation you do, it really stands alone in these kinda contests, but the error you made was changing the image everytime a new letter comes up, that makes it confusing and you don't have enough time to look at the individual scenes. Also, the FLCL gets a little confusing.
Child of serenity: it's nice and simple, but at the same time I think there needs to be a little more added to it.
Tetnubis: Nice colours and image, I like how you used a different image from most people, the clear choice is to go for the boy and girl holding eachother, as always your boarders are good and you used a good type face in a good way (with the overlaying JP type, good find).
All considered I will have to vote for Tetnubis.
