I decided to hitch my original wallpaper design onto an animation collaboration. This isn't what I decided to animate, but rather the current capabilities of what my design can do. Hopefully this is far enough out of the wallpaper area, unless someone knows of the existence of animated wallpapers? So, yes, basically I'm working on an animated short and not wallpapers with this.

No, those are not individual frames being drawn. Each body part is a its own object and can be moved. Extended versions can be used to have them pivot off parent parts all the way up to the body.
