Art DUEL!!!!!!!

So basically here's the rules;
1. No photoshop, siggies, computer edited. If you can't use just your hands to do it, we aren't interested.
2. Any material can be used; paint, pencil, charcol.
3. Judges decisions are FINAL. no complaining afterwards.
4. Obviously it has to be YOUR WORK!!! No taking credit for something you didn't do.
5!!! Time limit is one week to have it sumbitted. (forgot that bit)

Theme was going to be 'night' but that's too general so I;m going with using a poem to inspire you instead.

Child-

Your clear eye is the one absolutely beautiful thing
I want to fill it with colour and ducks,
The zoo of the new

Whose names you meditate
April snowdrop, Indian pipe
Little

Stalk without wrinkle,
Pool in which images
Should be grand and classical

Not this troublous
Wringing of hands, this dark
ceiling without a star

You should have done this over a break or something, because some people are very busy during school and such. If you reall want to see people's creative, put a next contest over a break, such as christmas.

To the thread. That's what it's here for.
And doing it over a break from school wouldn't be fair on those who have to work, etc. The closing date will be 13th of October.
@Seren; what about a digi camera?

yes. your art doesn't have to be scanned. it can be a picture. BUT IT HAS TO BE DETAILED! and it needs to be a GOOD picture, so we can judge fairly.

This sounds really interesting... I'd like to join but my End-of-Year exams start from 3~12 Oct T.T ...Oh well, guess I'll havta wait for a next art contest... Or perhaps I could afford failing one exam since my results were never good to begin with ><; Btw, do we have to draw in accordance of what we think of the poem?
