A quick note on rating threads.

I want to highly encourage the following function. When browsing the boards, you may have noticed that it is possible to rate a thread and assign it a number of stars from 1 to 5. You probably saw that I assigned this thread 5 stars to grab your attention and show you what I'm talking about.

You know, I don't even mind if you screw around a bit and rate shit randomly, please, just use the function, for christ's sake its a great way to quickly give an opinion anonymously in seconds. You have to admit that that way is too useful not to be used here.

And YOU HAVE MORE OPTIONS THAN 1 STAR OR 5 STARS. USE THE IN-BETWEENS.

I still don't see the point of rating threads, if I want an opinion on a thread, I'll read it.

The reason you rate threads is to express your opinion without leaving long commentary. It's instantaneous and it's something that gives people an idea of their work in an impersonal format. I could go on and on about this, and you still wouldn't have the full picture because it's more intangible than that. Look, if you can do it, please do so. If you can't bear to rate the thread for whatever reason, then don't bother. But it helps them.
