Edit - Seems I mis interpreted the chapter. It looks like the only thing that happend was that Clare was granted all the memories of them before the thing awakened into a monster.

Does memory includes knowledge of fighting skills?

Probably, though Rafaela was only shown to be insanely strong without any actual specialties so she probably can't directly inherit any.

That memory transfer was the best way to make a new, completely indepenent awakend monster, without endig Rafaels role for good.
I like that way, seems to be the best solution, and might be interesting in the future.

Erm- The monster part will be interesting anyway, but the memory part has the potential to be the best part of the entire series, surely hope the author makes good use of that.

so...rafaela's memories were transferred to clare and now the new awakened thing has a mind completely independent of rafaela's (and luciela's too?)?

biggest questions:
what is the huge mistake clare is making (maybe awakening lufiela, though that seems unlikely)?
what is the thing clare must know from rafaela's consciousness?

shit this chapter was so intense I read it in a matter of moments...and now another month of waiting. argh I hate that so much

I guess it´s entirely possible that they go there, as he searches for Clare who is a person that´s kind of always getting into trouble. Thus he should know that there is a chance of meeting her there.

I'm not entirely sure that the huge youki was that of the newly awakened being.
It could be that Clare got the memories and the thing awakened, or that Clare got the memories and it's her youki that became this massive.

I like the second possibility more. Because otherwise it's just another super strong awakened being. Now that Isely is gone we can probably use one and this awakened being is interesting, but you can just let strong monsters pop up pretty easily. Bringing Clare up to this level is harder to do, so I hope that's what happened.

Plus, she could get a powerup and the thing could simply awaken the next chapter.

It could be but Rafaela was used more as a scout and in the organization's experiment, Rafaela was the one who was supporting Luciela's consciousness so I think Claire's youki reading/manipulating skills went quite high up after this.

So Raciela developed a new consciousness while she was "hibernating" but it would eventually die because of lack of activity? And Clare woke them up? And Raphaela gaver her another powerup?'

After all the freaking build up, i wanna see the most fucked up, weird ass, complicated, demonic looking Awakened one in the series to date, Yagi does Awakened one designs that are as awesome as Berserk´s Apostles, i wanna see him raising up the bar.

Seriously, I have higher expectations for Raciela´s design then I have for Barack Obama, and he's supposed to end two wars, fix the economy, be the first black president, deal with Iran, and not get himself shot in doing all this.
