What was that ? - Jacob felt comfortable while sneaking around the forest looking for loop
It's Yoki - a really big one, northeast from here
Since when we can sense Yoki ?
Shut up, what I have - a triple split personality now ?! - but after a second he just laughed at himself, it was true thought, he was one messed up yoma - probably mommy-yoma never loved him enough and hit him with a boulder on the head...hmm, that could explain why he has so little memory..
Well, that's not really important now - considerably, if there is someone really strong one, one or two of the witches should die and I could obtain their sword
He calmed himself down and started to read the heartbeats around himself
Probably two claymores, they just met with each other - I will stick with them
He came to such conclusion since both creatures had their heartbeats quite calm and they were too small to be yoma's. If they met with their enemy, he would surely sense it in their heartbeat...
Well, always good n' old-fashioned backstabbing could get me a sword too...Shadow hide me..
OCC: Jacob gets closer to Daimos and Arc while wearing shadow works Note : he isn't hungry
A man dressed in black walked slowly around the parameter of the forest. Shuffling his feet through whatever leaves had blown his way.
"Quite a few have died haven't they?" He said, looking up towards a warrior. She had mid length hair, two thick strands of hair framed her face, the right side was tied up, while the left side was rough and loose. Her fringe was messy on the left side, but quite neat on the right.
"20 trainees are dead, while only 15 Yoma have be killed," she said in a rather mono tonal voice, she continued "a few trainees have gone past their limit and the strong one seems to be moving around rather slowly, but still kills anything that comes close." Her voice was void of emotion, like she almost didn't care. Understandable, since what experienced warrior would want to watch a bunch of trainees falling over themselves.
"There also seems to be an uninvited guest" She said after a short period of silence, the air stirred around them. "Who could that be?" The man dressed in black, his words full of concern but his voice lacking in any. "I can't seem to place my hand on it properly, might be a Yoma, it might not." She replied in a dull voice.
The man looked away from the warrior and stared at the forest for a while. Some words nearly escaped his lips when he suddenly held his tongue, and instead said "This nest, it seems a little strong for trainees don't you think?" He laughed a little "Perhaps we should've sent some ranked warriors in...well, at least this will help clear our vast amount of problem males."
The warrior was curious to know what would happen with the males that survived, but knew better than to ask.
OOC: Will do Kaiserin a little later.
[Sisteena and Lindy]
Sisteena and Lindy, back to back awaited in anticipation of what to come. Heavy breathing filled the air, along with laughter that could pierce skin.
"I want the one with long hair" said a deep voice from the darkness.
"No! I saw her first, her flesh is mine!" another voice crept towards the trainees ears.
"You can have her, I want the other one..."
Many voices stirred in the air, Lindy and Sisteena couldn't get a grip on how many of them there were. But no matter the number the situation was still dire. Gleaming yellow eyes appeared from behind the trees, to the west of them, two pairs, from the north of them, three pairs and from the south, one pair. Six Yoma altogether, one on one a Yoma isn't a problem, but in a pack like this there could be trouble. The Yoma surrounded and circled the girls slowly, laughing manically and licking their lips.
"Half-breed flesh doesn't taste nearly as good, but it sure is a lot more fun to kill a half-breed then it is a human." One said, seemingly getting into a position to strike one of the trainees. The rest followed suit and assumed a battle stance, although they weren't preparing or expecting a battle. It was to be a massacre.
[Deimos, Arc and Jacob]
A soon to be rare sight, two male trainees had felt something of a huge power. But what was approaching was definitely not what they had expected. Jacob stalked them from behind, curious to see what would become of the two trainees. The yoki swished left and right, to those who could read it properly, it looked like it was dancing around the trees, getting bigger and bigger. The crashing noises got louder and louder, followed by huge thuds on the ground. Deimos and Arc looked around in a panic, the yoki was flowing all around. Were they're skills in reading subpar? Or was this enemy circling them at an incredible pace?
Faintly, two glowing orbs could be seen approaching closer. Whatever it was, they could be thankful it was at least alone.
Jacob, still at a distance ready to steal anything that he could, would be rudely interrupted. "Hey brother, what are you doing out here?" A voice said, followed by another "It's not one of us, it's a stupid human."
Jacob had been so concerned with the fate of the two trainees (more accurately, the fate of their swords) that he had failed to realise that two Yoma had crept up on him.
OOC: Thought I might give Jacob some fun and action, you could talk to them, or try and kill them. As for Arc and Deimos, I'm considering letting the being either be a trainee awakened, or just a powerful Yoma. I haven't decided yet.
The Yoma Cecily had attempted to strike was furious. How could something so small and insignificant get in the way of his fun? Cecily's attack was not as bad as she had imagined, the Yoma was consumed with rage and could not think properly, a wisp of blood trickled down from it's cheek, where Cecily's attack had landed. “The warrior up ahead looks wounded, keeping you alive would be a liability.” said the young trainee, which served no other purpose but to enrage the Yoma, and in a blind charge, the Yoma approached Cecily arms outstretched, in hopes of cleaving her in two. Cecily raised her sword, and hoped her skill was good enough to defend or counterattack.

How foolish he was - because of his agitation about the yoki and the claymores, the shadow works seems to stopped working...or maybe those yoma have some sixth sense..either way, Jacob never understood completely how his own power worked, it just..worked.. mostly. But this wasn't the time to think about that.
'Foolish Creatue's, I have no time for this....' - thought Jacob to himself. Firstly, they think he is a human because of his mask he was wearing..and well, the last thing he wants to do is take it off. If the mask will be taken off his face, who knows how much it will shorten it's usefulness.
'Calculate, Calculate - two of them, if I wanted - I could kill the first one by aiming at his heart easily, I'm confident in my speed and accuracy - but that would leave me completely open for the second to attack.. and If I just leave them here, they will take my loot...' Those thoughts appeared in Jacob mind when he faced two yoma's directly and put aside his robe...'At least I can use them'
Whom you call a human, you flower-eater ! Honestly, I can see you become an easy pray for claymore's if you have such hard time distinguish friends from foe - said Jacob to the Yoma in the back, while turning to the one which was a little closer - I believe you already know why I am here - 2 claymore's, I assume low ranked, are idly walking around this forest looking for trouble - I presume this is why your here too, right ? Because I might come up with an offer that could satisfy all of us and an inhuman smile have shown on Jacobs mask, stretching it a little too much, but without leaving any marks
'Good'-thought Jacob to himself-'Keep it cool and calm, I don't need to kill Claymore's - I just need to unnarm them and protect myself from that..thing which circulates there, and those fools might be what I need - a living shield, that is

Reason: Grammar check
"Oh so you would like to know my plan for this situation." Arc looked around as he spoke giving what he hope was gesture to pretend to ignore the Yoma until we get into a better position Deimos a little to the targets left, Arc a little to the targets rigth. He saw that the Yoma/s up ahead where preparing too attack too but couldn't decide which target to go after. They both continued in their respective direction and stop a good distance aways from each other. "It look like over there will be good spot to waiting for the Yoma comming this way hope we can deal with the current problem quickly to take advantage of it." Arc thought as he noticed a hill surround with a few place in which one could hide a little further along from the area he position himself in. After much more focusing Arc sensed more detail on Deimos and his own situtation had discovered that there were a few Yomas following behind them. There was also one, or is it two Yoma, very close by which they have sort of surounded, which they need to deal with before the other Yomas arrive. Most of the excess Yokai was just noise from the various battles happening around and that big source of Yokai, for a monent there Arc thought that whatever was following him had surround him. It seem to him to be the number was about three or four Yoma were following them. Earlier he knew something was following him but, he just couldn't tell what it was, thought it didn't seem to want to attack "I knew something else was approaching me but, I didn't realized it was so close and it was also a group of Yoma too!? There is also one, maybe two ahead better pick a better location to fight since it seems to wanted to attack us. At we now have better positioning on it, however we must finished it quickly and considering its yokai it could be an awaken trainee as well." Arc thought to himself. "Well I guess it is time to explain myself a bit. The situation is this after noticing you I realized another Yokai has also been following me. It appears now it was about three, maybe four Yomas judging by the amount of Yokai, thought I am not quite sure? Originally I was planning on getting some intel on the large Yokai ahead, which I found out recently is an awakened trainee. After getting closer I was going to try to aquire aid from some of the nearby claymores who are still alive at present, and if I can't find any there just get info on surounding area in case I have any encounters. But that is later now I must say these spots seems to better for us to fight in. Now would you like to be an bait or ambusher when the next encounter occurs? Decide quickly after this fight because Yoma will be approaching soon after that. Oh almost forgot before getting ahead of ourselves better deal with this problem at hand before all that. Do you want to start with it or should I? We better not take to long, because as I said before more company is on it way." Arc told Deimos as they both stop on oppisite side of the opponent be it awaken being or just a stronger then normal Yoma it was hard say given his own experince. Arc thought to himself as waiting for attack of what turned out to be one higher Yokai then normal Yoma being which was close at hand or Deimos anwser to questions asked out loud and one in silence to tell Arc where Deimos was going to attack, "I wonder what type of ally this Deimos will make, well this is the perfect chance to find out. Well if this takes to long it will be kind of late for an ambush to work. Well at least we won't be taken off guard if we take too long on this. I also hope Deimos realized my subtle hints while talking to prepare an attack for the head while I am a decoy going for the front. Well I find out based on his anwser or how he starts to attack. This Yoma seems a little stronger that normal hope we can take him quickly because this looks like only the start of our troubles I think. And this one is not even as strong as the one up ahead. I will start by a high faint and strike towards the lower front on this target going for legs or torso, I hope Deimos does what I would like him to do and go for the head if he doesn't I will just have to think on how to adapt on the fly."
OCC:Boy that is long maybe I should make Arc internal dialogue shorter

Reason: Some of speach just didn't sound right after I posted it especially considering the situation Elcura set for Arc
With a fatal embrace just an inch away, Cecily vaulted once again but a second to late. Her cape was caught in the grotesque claws of the yoma. If she did nothing she would be pulled down and vulnerable. “I have to… move or it will be the end of me,” she murmured as her eyes turned gold. Acting purely on survival instincts, she took one of the daggers strapped to her thigh and cut of her cape while she was upside down and in-flight.
The claymore landed on top of the yoma’s hideous forearms. Delaying no further, she hurled the dagger, aiming for the spot between the yoma’s eyes. “Now! While it’s distracted by the feign attack,” the blonde thought. Cecily rushed along her opponent’s arm, right behind the flying blade. She held up her sword ready to strike, hoping to land a lethal blow on the yoma’s ugly face while its sore-looking eyes were fixated on her initial dagger assault.
OOC: Whew... took me 35 minutes to think of that. I even had to act it out to make sure I was encoding the right thing. In-RPG time all of that is just 3 seconds. (>_<')

A reminder: You can't control the actions of npcs. Not accusing anyone, first mission I will be lax on this, but afterwards I will be more strict, so get into the habit sooner rather than later.
The dagger feint was successful, it skimmed the Yoma's head cutting the other cheek. While it was distracted by the dagger Cecily continued her dash, sword in hand. She dove head first towards the Yoma, sword following behind closely. She put all her strength into a swing aimed to take the Yoma's head off. But the Yoma, having regained it's senses ducked down while flinging it's arm up, launching Cecily through the air. After having watched her rebound off the tree trunk, he took this moment to gather his head and clear his mind. The Yoma, now calmer than before was even more dangerous.
"I told he was one of us, you idiot!" The first Yoma said to the other. "Hurrrgh, we nearly missed him, are you sure he's one of us?" The other responded. Facing eachother they pondered whether he was human or not, but after a short moment, they became lazy and restless.
"I believe you already know why I am here - 2 claymore's, I assume low ranked, are idly walking around this forest looking for trouble - I presume this is why your here too, right ? Because I might come up with an offer that could satisfy all of us" Jacob said after allowing the 2 Yoma to speak.
"Oh? Is that so?" The Yoma questioned "What did you have in mind" he said, grinning to the other. They didn't trust the stranger, but had no reason not to listen to him.
The situation was dire. Both Lindy and Sisteena clutched onto their Claymores and prepared themselves.
“The one with the long hair? It appears that they’re after Sisteena. I will do my best to make sure that she survives along with me! Well, I hope that a hit and run guerilla tactic will work”, Lindy thought to herself.
In a flash, Lindy appeared next to the single Yoma who was to their South and performed a diagonal top-down slash attack, hoping to bring the Yoma down so as to be able to create an escape route for both Sisteena and her…

Haha, perfect - firstly, I would like to apologize for my little..hmm, bvurst of anger - you see, I don't like to be interupted while examing the meal. I think you can easily relate to that- saying that, Jacob stood completely up, making himself look like he is confident of his words. It's essential to make them think they are dealing with someone who knows what his saying. Also, there are ways to gain a little trust from yoma..works for humans too.. it's called..complements.
My plan will work, considerably how skilfully sneaked behind me - certainly, your not some average nest-predator who just waits to be identified and annihilated, heheh
Ok, enough Jacob thought Time to take different approach
It was time to take his plan into action, he started to talk to both yoma's with serious and deep voice
The Claymores were going here towards the claymore nursery camp - well, I wouldn't call it exactly nursery camp, I think this is just a rendezvous point for Claymores which were damaged in battle and can't completely heal their wounds. The problem is - there is no way we can attack the spot because there are few healthy ones patroling that spot - obviously the trap - For the whole time Jacob he was talking slowly and as seriously as he could - of course he was lying..but maybe he wasn't ? The best way to lie is to make yourself believe that what he says is possible
Getting on the diameter of 100 meter of this camp is dangerous and letting those claymore's just run around and do what they want is ridiculous too, I think we can all agree on that - Without waiting for response he made a little movement with his head towards claymore
Those are claymore's which are going to this camp - I presume one with a dirt on the clothing is wounded - the yoki you might feel is them trying to move despite the wounds, it seems they are reaching their limits since the yoki starts to act weird. You might know what happens to Claymore which uses too much yoki.
Again, Jacob didn't wait for the answer, he just took a breath and have shown with his finger the place where Claymore were going too
They are expecting attack from behind, what they don't expect is frontal attack - since at the front is the camp and no yoma is supposed to come from that, the plan is simple - go round the Claymore as fast as it's possible and attack - it doesn't matter if they sense you or not, they are prepared - they are just not capable of any face-to face attacks anymore - probably they will use trees to hide themselves but that only leaves their front wide open
I was going to proceed with the plan and succeed - once I would kill the first claymore by surprising it, I would just kill the weakened one and have two meals - but since you came, it would be awful for me to not share, since we Yoma's know more than any other races how a pack should work and we can use it more efficient than some scared humans who thinks they work together by locking themselves in towns.
Looking hastily at claymores, Jacob started to rethink his strategy :Need to do it fast, the claymore's might already find the source of this yoki and my plan got's screwed
I don't know what you think now, whatever you trust me or not, but we have little time before they meet with other blond witches - I will take west, from the side of the river, I propose you to take north and west-north, through the trees undetected. I by going west, can catch anyone who escapes - and to be clear, if any of them escapes, it's rightfully my meal - With the lost words Jacob smiled again
Awaiting the answer, Jacob peered at two Yoma's making them understand that they don't have much time to think it through, why he himself revised the true plan in his thoughts :The plan is a little hasty but it should work, I will take the safest route - if the source of Yoki is yoma, well - the claymores will have nothing else to do but run, then I will be able to ambush them and take the swords. If the source of yoki is an enemy...well, I will know how strong it is once it deals with those two and claymores.

OOC: Seems Arc detected the two yoma with Jacob, but not Jacob himself. EDIT: All right, so the thing ahead is an awakened being.
IC: .: Deimos :.
Deimos slowly drew his claymore to reduce the hiss of metal against metal. He pushed all feelings of panic to the back of his head. He'd suddenly become aware of two--perhaps three--other yoma following them while his comrade, who still hadn't named himself, calmly talked about their battle plans. The yoki was faint and capricious, masked by the larger yoki they both stalked, but they couldn't afford getting attacked from behind.
He made a mental tally. Two or three yoma stalked behind them. Another yoma ahead--that yoki the stern-faced man had sensed. So. One ahead of and two behind. Those two--they can catch our rear off guard. Not good.
A trap. It's a trap. But the encirclement is not tight enough. Those two yoma are still further back. Why aren't they attacking yet?
Deimos assessed their position. he stood a little to the left, while the other Claymore stood to the right. And somewhere up and between them amid the bushes, trees, and flora, the turbulent yoki stirred.
He stamped the ground experimentally. From the gentle angle, they were starting up the slope of a hill, a morraine screened by the old forest. So this will be a bit of an uphill battle. Damn. Then that thing ahead's got the advantage of us.
Deimos picked up a rock churned to the surface of the earth by the tree roots. What luck, a piece of flint. I wonder if there's some deposits of chalk deeper underground? No matter. He crouched and began to make a tidy pile of leaves and dry twigs. That done, he stuck his blade into the ground then quickly ran the flint along the sword's length.
Sparks leapt and flew. Most died in the dirt. But one caught in the nest of makeshift tinder he'd arranged, and an encouraging wisp of smoke rose up.
Deimos quickly bent over the little fire. He blew gently on the flame, added more dry twigs. In a matter of seconds he had a small blaze confined to its pile of tinder.
Now I need a branch, resin--
He spotted a suitable hunk of wood, no longer than his arm but two times as stout. Sap from the trees coated it. This he held over the fire.
The flames jumped to the branch. Now he bore his claymore on his left hand, the impromptu torch in his right. It can't last long, not enough resin to delay it from devouring the entire thing.
Smoke made his eyes water, but Deimos blinked away the false tears. His muscles relaxed. Not too tense, not too loose. The calming effect of the crackling fire helped his concentration on their problem and steeled his conviction. Easy. It's just another fight. Another battle, like that war in my childhood with Iapto--never mind. At best this torch of mine will serve to distract the enemy. A mouthful of burning branch will at least slow anything that tries to bite my head off. A scorched mouth makes for a bad appetite.
Deimos stood. After a moment, he stamped out his initial fire. He held his comrade's gaze, then flicked his eyes to the side to signal his awareness of the two yoma. He shrugged to convey careless unconcern for the small fry, and jerked his chin at the lone prey they wanted.
"You have the honor of starting first," Deimos said in a voice quiet yet clear enough to reach his comrade's ears alone. "I fear an ambush is too late. That thing's probably felt our yoki already. I'll attack the moment after you make the first move--if the two behind us don't try anything stupid."
He pondered the idea of starting a forest fire, and if it'd be in time to block the path of the approaching yoma.
But what if the flames are fanned in our direction? This place is very much a firetrap...
Deimos moved in closer to the target parallel to his comrade.
I wonder what his name is...

At Deimos seeming signal of understanding Arc begins his attack going for what appeared to be a high rising slash towards the awakened trainee face. Arc finally settled on this thing being a formal comrade. But that attack was an faint in order to draw a premature counter attack or flinich from the oppenent. Then Arc went for his true attack which target is in the general direction of torso/right leg going now into downward arc while ducking now that his position had been changed. For a moment Arc wounder "Hope this distracted this awakened trainee enought that Deimos can finish this off with one clean hit. Well if worse come to worse at least I will be in advantages position of the high ground with only minor injuries, if Deimos caught my hint to go for the back of the head forcing the being to dodge foward. Well here goes everything." As Arc shifted his entire focus at the task at hand.
