Default Is it true Claymore is going to weekly shounen jump?

I read on wiki that this is the case but it's nearing the end of august and we still haven't gotten a new chapter of Claymore which is why I'm asking what's up. I mean, isn't the definition of weekly jump suppose to mean that a manga is released one chapter each week? so Why haven't we receive one yet? Wiki also said that the author is taking a month break beginning the last issue for the Monthly Shounen Jump that's ending in June but even if it was the end of June and that the definition of a month is stretched to just about less than 60 days shouldn't there be at least a chapter by now? I also checked this site

    http://jump.shueisha.co.jp/home.html

which is the official page for weekly jump but it doesn't even have an icon for Claymore. So does anyone know what's up.

Umm... I dont think yuo n eeded a whole thread just to ask the question...

    but in answer...

Yes, Claymore is going to weekly. The only thing with the stall is that it takes a while for the mangaka to write up a few chapters before putting them out so that, even if he gets behind, he doesn't worry SO MUCH about it... either that, or it's just that Norihiro Yagi has to get a little used to the new schedule he'll be working on.

Where do you people get your sources from? thats what I really want to know.

Wiki is full of crap sometimes, Never base your judgement completely on wiki. While it may contain collaborative documents which could be true theres also the risk the information is fake.

The manga is still monthly. Claymore is currently being hosted at weekly jump for the time being until the JUMP square get released in November and it's still going to be monthly.

Nope, Claymore is still being published monthly. To be specific, the first week of every month.
I will personally inform you if I find it in the "weekly" JUMP SQUARE.

And I dont think Norihiro-san can complete everything in a week to make it a weekly thing =(

    We can all dream, right?

The artwork's really good in Claymore. Characters, background, fight scenes. I want the quality kept up.

sure the quality should be kept up but mounth is to much.

the story probably is allready in the mind of the mangaka. so all he needs to do is paint it. other mangaka can paint their stories weekly too.

its so painfull to wait for Claymore

Well I think waiting a month is a good thing in this current generation of self-gratification and all that psych/economics rot. Makes you want it more.

Does Mr. Norihiro do the majority of it by himself or does he have assistants then?
