Quality shouldn't go down if it was made into a weekly, I mean they don't even color mangas like American comics do, not much goes into making any mangas when compaired to say an issue of X-Men or what have you, with its high gloss pages, full digital coloring and the list goes on.

Do you REALLY wanna try comparing Japanese series to American? Just don't...

    ~~

Anyway, I prefer monthly... wouldn't wanna even RISK the quality going down overall, would you? Hell, on top of that, if it's weekly, then Norihiro might get too stressed and drop it completely.

Lol. Let's not beat that dead horse, this isn't the place for it. (Dead horse topic = Japanese manga vs. American comics)

And having the mangaka stressed and sleepless is definitely not good for Claymore.

Um sure, ok... you two do realize how timely and costly digital painting is right? If you say that it takes more to make a manga then an American comic you are a ignorant, biased and fanboyish person (anybody), I haven't read an American comic in forever, but I'm not so ignorant as to think they don't take a crap load of effort and people collaborating to make them.

We are talking about quality here, it takes more time to paint an image digitaly then to draw said image, if you had any photoshop skills you'd understand, a drawing that takes an hour will require about 2-4 to paint, so yeah what dead horse are we takling about when referring to quality and time required to distribute, hmm... I'm talking about effort here, not your prefference in art style, effort not style equals time.

I know this was off topic so I'll end it here, just don't say ignorant things, both of you, it's annoying.

    ........
    What?
NOBODY said that it takes more to make a manga than american comics, or something like that. They just said that it isnt a good idea to start yet another argument in comparing manga and comics, that they dont want to start another argument in comparing manga and anime, and that it is COMPLETLY wrong forum AND topic to discuss such things.
And you jumped in conclusion that they somehow said that manga was superior/more complex/more expensive to produce than american comics and happily wrote a post about american comics which wasnt needed, in wrong forum, wrong topic and that nobody wanted. And ,probably just for a good measure, added few insults.
I dont know if they touched some sensitive topic of yours, are you just had a bad day, but your post was both ignorant and annoying.

When someone says, do you really wanna try compairning this to that, it is more likely than not to imply that one does not compair to the other, so stfu with that argument, if it was meant in the way you so lengthily tried to convey it, then he would have worded it different, although it doesn't matter what he says now since we've had this stupid discussion, gawd you're lame...

in hind sight the second person to reply against my comment was likely just referring to a dead off topic disscussion (no need to go there type of thing), so yeah...

oh and your annoying since you like to stick your nose in and make comments for others because you're a captain (slang term, you get it?), getting all riled up over a comment made towards other posters, so who's getting all sensitive and spouting off, go crawl on the ground and find some shade to cool off, Lizard boy.

Going to go eat some Pho now, bye!

Enough of the stupid, I think it's confirmed that Claymore isn't going weekly. Time to move on?
