2nd? Chapter. It was in the first volume that much I know. Yoma was disguised as a Claymore.

And apart from Awakened Beings, I don't recall seeing any others. Which, like Teresa's chest. Is a lost/forgotten plot device.

My personal opinion on this is the fact that she may have had some sort of torture involved that forced her to become a claymore. I am thinking that someone either removed her female parts through the lower abdominal region or a C section which also had said parts removed with it. As we know very little about her other than an orphan if I recall correctly, then it wouldn't be surprising that she was abused. But then again I am being to analytical it could be just how it is in the species 2 movie.

I think it was either a horrible scar or a yoma implant. I think people's theories about Teresa manipulating her body to look weird aren't likely because it seems to have been made abundantly clear that she didn't give a shit about being raped (emphasized in her subsequent encounter with the injured lone bandit).

I think a possibility is that earlier Claymore's had been made as Claymores using more primitive methods (which would explain why newer claymores dont have scars/implants) The reason i thought of that, was cuz Rubel at one point mentioned that The Organization had been doing a whole bunch of different experiments on how to create the most powerful Claymores (which is why they accepted Clare to be the 1/4 yoma... yet another experiment).

Or as someone said earlier, a scar from her pre-Claymore existence.

All logic aside I think the REAL explanation is
She actually had a hairy chest. Hormone problems.

in that topic but not that much, it would be nice to know how the claymore changes after the awakening, because Isley was pretty normal without a shirt.

How clever and edgy. The general IQ on this board just went down 5 points.

Am I seriously the only one who thought of the most obvious thing?

How the hell do they get the Yoma essence into a Claymore? Transplanting organs and tissue. How many times have they used the words "her flesh and blood" and "Their flesh" when refering to the Claymore-ization process?

I have never had any doubt period since I first saw that scene long ago that she was showing them her horrendous yoma-tissue graph.

Hairy Chest is NOT that much of a turn-off for bandits. Seeing a monster's penis just above her belly...Touche.

Although, looking at that last posted picture(With clare saying "it still hurts, right?") the shadowing technique in the bottom right of that picture on Teresa's chest COULD BE HAIR.

Although I prefer the theory stated earlier in the topic (Being that Teresa ripped into her own chest/flesh and pulled it off with the close) as being the most likely, two factors disprove it:
    1. No blood was shown nor were there sounds that would indicate something hitting the floor(Which cloth alone would not make).
    2. When the single-handed bandit came back the secound time she MENTIONED her body again but didn't take her clothes off herself. Meaning whatever was disgusting the 1st time was still there and not something she does in such a manner.

This theory actually has been mentioned a bunch of times. Elaborating on this theory, I think:
    1. Volume 10's cover was just randomly drawn so there would be a nice pic for the cover
    2. Alternatively, Undine requested a surgical graft of skin to cover up anything there. She now has a disfigured a
ss3. Claymores have their intestines removed and the yoma flesh transplanted there. Clare's stomach would have... Teresa's face staring out at you!! Now switch that nice face with a normal Yoma's face. Yeah, that would creep out anyone. Imagine trying to have sex with that down there. Poor bandits.

I always figured that Teresa probably had horrible scars and yoma skin grafts on ther torso. Yoma skin is purple and brown and leathery and slimy and who knows what else.

What bothers me is we get a pretty good look at Jean during the first fight with Duph and nothings seems out of the ordinary.
