Ophelia is abit crzy anyway, so she does weird things....I think she can poke clare's hands or legs instead.
I doubt that something as trivial as a nasty scar is going to turn bandits off. These guys live in the mountains among a bunch of other guys, chances are they will stick their twinkies into any half decent women. I think what they saw was probably something distinctly yoma, no idea exactly what that could be tho.
I think Ophelia just wanted to draw a little blood - she was more than a little crazy to begin with imo. It could be that Theresa had a scar there, whether from the Youma implantation or anything else. Perhaps the one implanted in her was more powerful and active than otherwise, and sometimes still raged.
I am pretty sure that something like a moving scar would be a turn-off for even the most horny bandit. Especially if you've already heard that Claymores are half-demon... That would be too much of a fetish, don't you think ;) ?
I've seen worse, ppl calling themselves guro lovers?
So the guess is
1. A very ugly scar
2. Yoma implants?
don't forget that clare probably has a similar body, since the black clothes guy asked her what would raki think if he saw "that body".......
Maybe we can think on the bright side?
Clare might have a nice body and Rubel might meant it in a "good way" :)
Here is what I think with respects to Teresa: A little Yoma energy goes a long way, expecialy if the scar came from a Yoma when she was Human. I mean, we see Clair when she is young topless, and she doesn't have a scar on the front. Later we are show her from both sides, again no scars. I assume Rubel was talking about "freaked out" Clair (when she is above 30%), and not what she normaly looks like. However, if the scar was either 1) not treated with Yoma energy when the wound originaly occurd as a half Yoma, or 2) before she became a Claymore, she would have a wound and scar that she could make do... interesting things. In addition if the wound was deep and caused by a Yoma, who knows if the entrails would be covered correctly. I wouldn't like seeing part of an intestine just laying there, would you? Just make the already gross scar do the Hula or something, and well, instant gross factor.
Damage to a claymore's body received before becoming a claymore cannot be healed. I think she was tortured while she was human. It's only my guess though.
Who knows... Clare's back is normal, and while I haven't seen a good close-up of her tummy, it's probably not so bad either, given the side shots Phantom Miria provided. OTOH, given how Clare could manipulate her vocal chords, Theresa did not need to have a scar or something - she could probably just make her innards move or her skin crawl. I doubt that the bandits would be thrilled if they saw her stomach bulge and distort.
