Thread: Love? In the Claymore World?

A topic not really explored in depth would have been the love lives of the various characters in Claymore.

Obviously this is not explored to a great extent as Claymore is, overall, more action packed than containing elemnts of romance. However, there seem to be hints of a romantic relationship between certain characters that may be of interest to readers/viewers.

The relationship between Raki and Clare is much debated. For me, I would like to take their relationship from a romantic point of view instead of one where its more of like mutal assistance or sibling based relationship. However, what do you all think?

Further, what about the relationship between Riful and Dulf? Is there something romantic going on or is the relationship based on companionship?

Whilst some people would think Riful and Duph's relationship is something like this.


I think its more like Riful the woman and Duph the little fat kid even though Duph should be older since male claymores were the first ones to walk around.

I read a few fanfictions of the pairings and I concluded that generally people on fanfiction.net have very very twisted tastes.

Teresa and little Clare (Full on yuri? I don't think so)

There's no way anything (except for suspicions) is going on between both of them.

Now when did Riful meet Ilena or vice versa? The other fans out there sure have interesting ways of thinking. If they can come out with such a possibility, I can come out with many others too, like......

- Galatea and Rafaela (Yuri)
- Ilena and Rafaela (Yuri)
- Raki and Isley (Yaoi)
and the list will go on....

Clare and Raki definitely have something... I don't see why else she would have kissed him if it wasn't romantic. Her motivation for looking for him even after seven years hasn't lessened, it seems, which would imply something strong. And it would be so much more interesting for the story, too...

Fanfiction.net is a gathering place for morons. There are some good things there, but the vast majority of writers are total idiots.

=\ She's into him in the same way that Teresa was into her. Teresa loved Clare, but not in the pedo ecchi way stupid sex-deprived Fanfiction.net people think... I'd say Clare's feelings are more of "I keep my bitches clean."

It makes sense to me, anyway...

Except now Raki is all grown up and will probably be looking quite good. Tee hee.

It seems like every Claymore has a pretty ugly torso. We've never seen it but Teresas Story made that pretty clear didnt it?

Regarding Claire:
Who knows, if Raki still hasn't given up, guess to him it is; he is THAT interested in Claire, after all, so I guess she is that good looking.
Now I wonder whats going on on Pricilla's head; even though she might be attached to Raki, it may just be because of his scent from the south. It still bothers me though, all those scenes about Raki and Pricilla.

Regarding the Torso:
They should eat more, hehehe.

Clare/raki is more of a sister/brother or mother/son love than anything else, and even though something romantic can come out of it I doubt it will... (Considering Raki may be with Priscilla later, it's even less possible for him and Clare to make out)

Secondly, it's not only for Clare, claymores don't have this kind of relation (they don't even mind getting raped, meaning they don't care that much about their corpses). And the few who have relationships with humans either kill them or use them as pet, or at best befriend after taking them into pity.

That may be true, but looking at the possibilities after the 7 year time skip, I think its a possibility. And sooner or later, Raki will know Pricilla is an Awakened Being.
