But I do remember Helen saying something like "it can't be your child" or along the same lines to Clare when they gathered at the place.
You got a point here too :)
I can imagine a platonic romance between Raki and Clare though, and maybe later a real romance between them (though I think Raki could soon end up with Priscilla), but they are the exception which confirms the rule...
Nooo......sexy Clare deserves a hot Raki. I will be depressed if Raki ends up with Priscilla :'(
lol read a interesting read.
Helen: Raki turned into a awakened being!
Helen: But you know, might be fun with all that tentacles
Clare: What do you mean?
-Helen whispers into Clare's ear-
Clare: !!! How can you think of such atrocities!!
Nice one Phantom Miria
(Read #2) Continuation from the above read
Clare: No!!! You have to control yourself, refrain from eating.
Raki: But why?
Raki: I don't see her stop eating.
*Raki points at Helen who's holding an apple in hand*
Oh I think your's is more funny Phantom Miria :(
After seeing Elcura's post on RPG opinion thread (Which hasn't been too active with opinions as of late) I just noticed something.
Is it just me or is every Abyssal Ones Offensive type claymores? Not just the Abyssals but take a look at the top 3 male awakened beings Rigald and Duph. Maybe one of the fundamental requirements in becoming an Abyssal One or a Awakened Being almost as strong as being classified as a Abyssal is you need to be a Offensive type. Link that in with other things Elcura said which was that for one to be born as a Offensive type they need to have some tragic event that makes them want to go and kill Yomas very badly and you bare a extreme hatred towards them. eg. Ophelia, Clare, Ilena?, Priscilla
Does that then mean Isley, Rigald and Duph also had a horrid childhood with yoma history that burst them into kids with extreme hatred towards Yoma?
Hmm nice parallel you see there.

The 2nd time was when she wanted to save herself by mending the hole that was in her stomach. Compare this to Clare who awoken her limbs as she wanted more power to destroy Rigardo.
It just seems to me that Offensive type Claymores tend to use their powers to the limits more than a defensive based Claymore.
I'm just popping into this thread since I didn't want to create another one... Can someone explain to me how Luceila got killed. Wikipedia says Rafaela broke her back but I'm very skeptical that something like that would be lethal to Luceila even if she was weakened.
Awakened Beings and Claymores are just like normal beings, if you break someone's back (especially with the force Raphaela put into it) they'll die. Same thing goes for Awakened Beings and Claymores. Luciela was in a weakened state (close to that of an actual Claymore physically) so dying from a broken back seems all to plausible.
So what was that thing where that claymore got her neck broken and was all like "Stupid, if you want to kill me the only way is to cut off my head". Ophelia I think?
Ophelia is a different category. She's the type that does not die from a broken bone or a twisted neck. Have to totally slash off her neck if the monster intends to kill her.

Ophelia's power and personality are much like a snake, having her bones modified so that she can rotate her head 180 easily isn't that hard to believe (much like an owl) lol
