Thread: Ponder this.

With Ilena's grand total of 3 limbs, I often wonder how she (living in seclusion) managed to put on such complicated clothing.

The cape I kinda understand, but looking at her arm...I wonder wtf she did to get that stuff ON. Thinking about her using her feet to help just...just kills a part of me inside.

Maybe it takes 3 hours for her to get dressed and undress for bathing etc. 1 Arm loss isn't the end of the world and she probably had all the time in the world to get used to the new circumstance she's in.

Ever seen a guy who can drive with no arms? and operate a lawn mower without any arms? I did. lol I even saw a video footage of this dude who had no legs at all in a Kendo duel/match.

Ilena had one arm left so it couldn't be too difficult I'd think. Hope shes still alive somewhere either as a renegade or with Riful? =P

Maybe she used her mouth? You know, to hold a piece in place while she slips her arm inside? Obviously there's some easy way... lots of characters lose arms in manga, after all, and none of them have ever mentioned big problems. I guess it wouldn't be too much harder to get dressed with only one arm. I'd be more worried about how she managed to keep her balance (if she did, at first).

She was helped by Winry's automail or I'd like to think because she's a master of quick sword, with her unparalled speed of moving her arm she was able to do it just as fine as one would with both hands to get out of their clothes or putting on their clothes.

Teeth. She must've used her teeth.

She probably gets frustrated though and goes over her limit, thus transforming her normal human teeth into yoma canines and whoops, there goes another uniform. -.- I would so like to see a sketch of her putting on clothes this way.

well maybe she can extend her limbs (of cause not as good as others but maybe a little). That alone would help her.

Or she can use her feet and her mouth. Maybe she can also extend her feed and toes, so she has something like 3 hands if she is sitting.

Hmm while at it ponder about this. Clare re-attached an arm that isn't her own. Does this mean claymore can attach yoma limbs into their own bodies as well? lol that would look so not pretty if Ilena had 2 yoma arms instead of a more human looking arms.

Maybe someone will make a fanfic about Ilena's struggle filled years in exile, learning to dress herslef so elaboratly, crap... now when I re-read those chapters all that's gonna cross my mind is how wrong her complicated clothing choice was.

I dare anyone here suggesting she used her teeth to find a belt and strap it on with the arm you need it on and your teeth. Tell me how long it takes (if you can do it) and times that by 10 or more.

I DARE YOU! Not only that, but the belts/strap things look pretty small...even harder to put on.

Simple answer is, Ilena's so hardcore she just does it. Or just plain crazy. But I guess with all the time in the world it doesn't matter if it takes, 2, maybe 3 days to just get dressed....

Soo... She just a show off... Spend god knows how much time, putting on the clothes just to look good in front of Clare
