Lol you underestimate me. 95% hack and slash? It really comes down to how well I work and what I have in store for the members. I would say realistically speaking, figures should be about 60% fighting and 40% normal interactions. Claymores are killing machines when you come down to it, doesn't mean we have to follow EXACTLY 100% to the storyline. We can adapt, make something new of it while sticking to the basics introduced in claymore. Explore the past, or the future generations of claymore I'm certain we can establish something almost identical yet different in many ways. The Organization might have worked differently 50 years ago, or 50 years down on the track after Claire. Me personally likes to delve and shape the past and if not for the sake of spoiling I would be happy to spoil it to all and reveal the entire plot as it is because really its one heck of a story to tell and theres moments when I'm thinking this would be a mighty fine story if made into a fanfic. Plot, betrayal, politics, elements which could intrigue the participants are present in the current plot only it went downhills when we lost participants for numerous reasons which is expected during this time of the year when people are busy with exams and christmas holidays coming and all. Alot of the missions and errands we had in store for the participants had plenty balance between roleplaying and gut slashing, only it didn't show too much because most of the time I was thinking along the lines of letting people gain higher ranks before letting them settle down and explore the past, because theres alot in there. Third mission would have been a very interesting one where we would have seen a good deal of more interaction while seeing what me and Elcura came up with in revealing one of the older generation Claymore already known to many who read all chapters. Really I'm very well tempted to spill the beans.

Well, you might be able to get into more and get it into that 60/40 ratio. But still more fighting than normal interacting, which still is way to much fighting for my like in roleplaying. And in most cases I'll still guess the players goals will still be destorying/killing something/someone.
When I roleplay personally I want choises and alot of intruiges, that can end depending on the players actions in fights, but it doesn't have too.
Big out battles are are fun, and thoughtless adventures/campaigns can be nice every now and again, but never as stimulating as huge campaigns filled with political intruiges and daggers in the back. Tho that doesn't belong here.
Also, getting too the ratio you said depends on the characters, not only on you, having reasons for that much interaction, wich is more or less purely up too them. No matter what the GM does, if the players have other plans it might go very different than the GM planned, (talking from experience).

You could always lol choose not to roleplay here then? xD

Haha not going too.
Just having fun discussing! Which is what forums are for. And anyone who flashes the arguing over the internet sign are the real retards, as arguing is a part of discussing.

Or choose to read what's been done so far and decide if it's not for you?
I don't know, I don't get the criticism when you aren't even willing to read what's been done so far. If you want to drop some sagely advice or wisdom go for it. But I don't really get what you hope to achieve.

What I'm trying to achieve is only just a run of the mouth discussion with no real point. Just because it's fun. But people on forums always have problems with it (and even some people in philosophy classes do...) which makes it even more fun.
About reading all that, no real time.

That post inspires only one response for me; huh? In saying that though, it's probably better to just move on...

i was thinking u know how the organization says that the reason why male claymore was remove from production cos they are more likely to awake den how they said its better that claymores last only for moderate durations.. it sounds more like maybe there is other reasons why male claymore was remove. the organziation seem to be hiding stuffs all the time (sry if anyone had post this remark b4)

The males were highly unstable to control and they were doing more damage than good which they were created for. It makes you think doesn't it though? If the Males were this much trouble why were they created? Could it be that the ancient yomas that existed before them could have been so strong and menacing? Without the male awakened beings I think humanity could have seen more peace since without them there would be no awakened beings. Who knows? Maybe Yomas even had their own village and bought slaves off the market regularly to feed on. Theres alot of the past elements which could be discussed about I think and thats what makes the past so much more fun to RP than the present. LarsDeman I got the idea that your opinion basicly means to tell me that Claymore is a horrible genre to RP so thanks for putting your input but I'm more or less wondering if the current community would be interested in RPing elsewhere on a private forum. I'm also confused at what you would like to achieve with the argument... We get the idea that you don't like bloody combat and like to socialize more and thats fine but arguing about wanting to socialize more in this RP when your not going to take part in it seems like a waste to argue. Eitherway thanks for the input on your idealistic RP. Moving on?
