Just a question what will happen to those characters that are not yet approved and ranked yet? And where would it be located here on stoptazmo or on sorascans?

^I think a seperate forum/infoboard will be made for the RP alone. It will be handled by the GMs here and additional peeps from SoraScans.
As for the unapproved... I dunno.

I see so it will be located here in stoptazmo. Hmm it seems the rp really stop moving at this point almost two weeks and no update on it.

Just a question. I haven't read all the 484 posts, due to being lazy and not having that much time.
But the question is, how much real roleplaying is one really able to fit in into playing a claymore in this world?
As for me it seems that an rpg based on that would be 90-95% hack and slash, and I don't really see the big apeal with that.
So, about how is the ratio between fighting(and preparations that belong in it) and roleplaying?

I don't think it will be in either Stoptaz or Sorascans. It will be a standalone board for the RP.
A world's plot can differ depending on what the GMs have in store for the plot. There can be a hefty amount roleplaying if willed by the GMs but of course Claymore is more on hacking and slashing. When creating fiction out of fiction, the possibilities are near endless.

Well, possibilites are near endless, but I can't see a real element for much other stuff than monster killing in Claymore. Unless you plan it so that everyone is ordinari humans trying to survive in that seemingly godforsaken world. Even tho that would bring it down to a level where it might just be anyworld.
As you have to admit it, in 95% of the cases when the claymore's aren't fighting an awakened being it's just poof dead. And from what I gather when reading most awakened being fights are rather methodic without much plotting for personal goals aside from killing yoma and awakened beings.
Thus with that there isn't much TOO roleplay. As the claymores doesn't go into politics, religion, trade or anything. They are just killing machines that have rules about killing anything not yoma, and the absolutely biggest part of those who've existed haven't had many selfish goals aside from wanting to kill a certain yoma or certain awakened being. While hack and slash is fun, I usually want more than just that part.
Just some of my thoughts tho.

=\ you destroy the fun in roleplaying. If you don't like hack and slash, go play your little Risk games or whatever. Hell, go find a Death Note RP and be emo.
And if you've read the manga/watched the anime, you know that they ARE just killing machines.

I know that they are just killing machines, that's why I question the rpg. You can just go play some random hack 'n slash game. No need to ruin the good name of role playing for it =P
As for a death note game. Could work if you had to find the user.
But well. Looking at the name roleplaying it's about playing a role. And not much of a role to play in hack and slash. Playing that you keep an inn at some road in the claymore world would give much better roleplaying than playing claymore, as you would have to role play and not just run around playing at being killing machines with a story =P

Death Note RPG isn't a good idea - the only way I see it that your a part of investigation group tracking Kira. It would require some hellish good game master to pull something that good.
The old good 'Mafia' system would be better for Death Note RPG
