Im cool with all the ones on the left that Phantom Miria has posted.
As long as Im able to make out which charcters that particular poster is mentioning, Im fine with it. Of course, I do hope that posters will stick to the more common names that are circulating around.
Eg: Irene or Ilena (A big NO to names like Ellena or Eleanor or something else)
Of course I can be very picky if I want to as Im Japanese. I prefer "Garatea" but I'll follow the tide and call her "Galatea" instead.

lol I found a guy who spelt Isley as Easley by xxsaznpride.
I did that too.
'Isley' looks too much like isle - island even if it's said different, and 'Easley' brings to mind a slaughter during Easter holidays.
I'm going with Easley.
I think the real problem is spelling the name different when the pronounciation seems obvious in English. i.e. Millia vs. Miria.
Just following along like a good little lemming...
Galactia sounds like a character from the movie Anger Management... the guard dude who's a gay prostitute during the night.
Millia its okay cuz its sounds like a rock band.. err is the name of my favorite Guilty Gear character.
Eclipse is using Easley, which annoys me a little, but not as much as "Dwellers of the Deep" vs "Abyssal Ones".
I dont like most of the Names. all of them seems to be ill considered.
Rafaela, Ophelia, Galactea, Riful, Pricilla...
some names sound like sailor moon/or another kiddy anime names (galactea, ophelia..) or other like rafaela sound like names of prostitute or escort girls (Pricilla, Tabatha, Flora, Rafaela).
there is not much thought behind them.
in the beginnings of the manga, the names were good. They were normal woman/girl names like Clare, Teresa, Illena, Miria
and the male names are good too
but whats next? Angel? Amber? Ashley? Melissa? if i want to hear those cheap names i'll go a red-light district

Those are only your ill-concieved notions of their names. To me the only weird name you listed is Galatea (Galactea doesn't exist btw). All the other names are perfectly normal English names.

Galatea is a real name btw (cf http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galatea_%28mythology%29)
1) wtf? I don't even remember posting...
