Thread: Speculations - Chapter 74

Im sure we did discuss quite a bit back there on the possibility of the many possibilities that the "strong claymore" that Miata had sensed. It'll be great that maybe we can generate more ideas with regards to who that "strong claymore" would be.

Not only that, everyone is allowed to mention what they think chapter 74 is about. (You never know, it might not focus on Miata-Clarice and may gear to focusing on some other characters)

Well...thats to keep ourselves occupied till chapter 74 comes out ya. Have fun speculating what chapter 74 is about.

My list of possibilities on who the "strong claymore" is (of course, with the help of you guys)

1. Rafaela

2. Ilena (or Irene depending on your preference)

3. Galatea

4. One of Miria & gang who's doing grocery shopping in town

5. Raki (If he becomes a Claymore)

My speculations as to what Chapter 74 will be on

I am hoping that the claymore that Miata & Clarice found wasnt Galatea. The unknown Claymore updates Clarice on the organisation's wrong doings and Clarice deserts along with Miata from the organisation

Rafaela is my guess too.

it wouldn't be something special if it really is galactea. something unexpected keeps the mood awesome like its been so far.

and seriously her 6th sense (or better said her extremly overpowerd 5 senses) can make mistakes too.

i mean if you try to spot someone whos far away your only sense that's useful is your smelling. (she cannot see her, nor hear her, nor touch her, nor taste her)

so its only one overpowerd sense (plus the yoma detecting but that wont work cuz both rafaela and galactea have no aura anymore) she uses to find her. like a dog thats trying to find a missing person.

and even if you giver a dog a t-shirt to smell its not garanted that it really find that person. the dog yould also find someone else that smells similar to the missing person.

-> so my guess is that #4 mistakes rafaela's smell for galactea's
she said herself "there is a claymore hidden in this village" or something like that.

that indicated that she isnt sure who it is.

as for clarice and mitia: Mitia does whatever clarice says to her. so if clarice finds out that the organisation wanted to get rid of her or what really happend 7 years ago. Who knows. maybe she will ally with with Clare. (but i dont like clarice)

Hmm....I dont know. I thought that general consensus was that it was Galatea. Really what purpose in the story would it have if it wasnt Galatea, but Raphaella or Irene? Miata and Clarice dont know anything about them, they dont have any kind of order about them, they dont mean anything for them and vice versa. Yea, it could be an excuse for a fight and to measure the power of Miata but thats all.
Besides although I liked Irene and Raphaella too, to an extent, they pretty much fulfilled they purpose in the story (Irene as Teresas opponent/Clares teacher and Raphaella that unfinished bussiness with her sister) with no loose ends left to close, so I think we wont see them again.

My guess is that they meet either Galatea or Mirias gang, but I am not sure if there will be a fight. Clarice is too emphatic and emotional, and human for a claymore, so she may be swayed to let them go, or even join them. Clarice and to a lesser extent Miata had too much backstory to be just another of the opponent Clare has to slay. I think they will have a big role in the future of Claymore.

I also think Clarice and Miata will leave teh organization, since (I bellieve) Clariece is already questioning about the organization, wanting to kill Galatea and all.

Nice observation. Clarice seems to be having doubts towards the organization.

Well, if Clarice + Miata are to run off, the organisation cannot do anything much to them anyway. They can survive on yoki supressors and Miata will still have no problem ripping off those people who are chasing them. Miata is a double edge sword that's controlled by Clarice

Weren't Rafaela and Ilena dead? We haven't seen bodies butthey were said to be dead, so we can assume that they are. Also i have to agree with Lizard, they have alredy fulfilled thier role in story, no reason to show them anymore.

That powerful Claymore is most likely Galathea, not Clare and gang, since Miata said "powerfukl claymore" not "powerful claymors". I won't be surprised if Gang will arrive to help Galathea in battle with Miata (if that happens).

It will be a great shock to me if its Yuma though You know we should give Yuma more credit She did her part in the pack by keeping an eye on Clare by following her around. That task is not simple as Clare always run wild.

Maybe maybe. One of them just went out to buy some beer and chips so that everyone could watch football match with comfort later.

I can hardly view Yuma as someone good enough to be praised by Miata though...

Yeay that would be great. (but i doubt it strongly)

I think Yuma underrestimates herself, cuz shes allways with such powerfull claymores like clare and rest.
of cause she isnt anything special
but i think she could be compared to the current number 3 or number 6.
i mean she trained for 7 years with the gang. the training must have been hard and i guess she learned some technics too.

i doubt that she will ever play a big role in the manga but she sure knows how to fight properly.

if the gang would still be in the organisation, she would simply get a number around 10-12

She certanly is better then any average claymore of course, but I don't think that she is good enough to impress Miata. As for getting place 10-12... you may be right. Although I would wait for her fight to measure her real power.
