The article says it all basically. I must say that I'm both impressed by the sheer audacity of this raid and also appalled at the sheer assholishness demonstrated.

The video was funny as hell though.

It's messed up but in a way, I don't think it's that evil. Yes I know they crashed a funeral. But it was an ONLINE one. Tell you what I think. I think that even the guy who had died, would have laughed at something silly like this, because he knows its not his REAL funeral, but just a sweet gesture made by some friends. And if he's a gamer, things like this will make him laugh.

BTW that plague is just hilarious. They used NPC pets and made other NPC characters into carriers. That was ingenius.

MMO's aren't the place to let your guard down... even when paying respects to your peers or in this case former peers.

I mean, I know, its just a game, but its still a sign of respect for a person who has passed on. Tasteless and base, if you ask me.

Yet another reason not to play anything massively mutiplayer, in my opinion, there are just too many idiots and jerks in the world...

That and I want to pay for a game once and get it over with, instead of havin to pay again every month, when I might not actually use it that much in that period of time...

I told my friend about this. He said something that makes sense:

I dont agree with him, but its a valid point.

i remember seeing this a couple of weeks ago.. my husband showed me .. i thought it was an awsome jesture. <-- jakko did i misspell? he died and they sent him off in a way they knew he would have wanted.. i cant belive thoes assholes did that i swear they should be made to start over from scratch..

I dunno, I think that the whole idea of mmorpg's and whatever WoW is classified as should be done away with. Make the games that have many different sections or servers, with only a set number of people able to play in each, so that you don't have too many idiots in one place able to pool their Moronic Powers of Destruction(MPD for short). I honestly don't see why anyone plays those games. At $10-15 per month, that's $100-150 for just a year, not to mention the price for the game itself. At that price, I would want the game to physically pleasure me while I am playing, for it to be worth it(I hope no one takes this last remark too seriously).

Well i just thought it was kinda like how when i die. i wanna be buried with my first edition sailor moon mangas ( not the big books the actual japanise comic type) and at least 2 of the songs i want played at my funeral are 2 Japanise songs (verry pretty when you translate to the english versions) i already picked out my dress and every thing so that i can be buryed in the fashon that i lived.. o it was kinda tha same for me

umm Jakko. its called real life. and it works in much the same way as an MMO does. Its unavoidable.
