Default Looking for information about a book...

There was this movie I saw when I was a little boy, which I loved. It was called "Shipwrecked" in America, though I believe its actual name is Haakon Haakonsen(who seems to be an ancient Norwegian king)

Anyway, it was based on a Norwegian book called, "Haakon Haakonsen," written by O.V. Falk-Yttr, around 1873. It was apparently like "Robinson Crusoe," only with a Norwegian boy as the hero. It is apparently quite famous in Norway, but I have never been able to find the book in english, or even a summary of it, the Library of Congress doesn't even list it on its site. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this book, for curiosity sake, and I was thinking someone on this site might be able to help me, since someone on this site is probably Norwegian. Thanks for reading this.

Yeah. That book is based off the movie, according to the summary on the site. It is not the book itself. I am talking about the real, original book that the movie was based on, for as everyone knows, some movies(The Count of Monte Cristo for instance), while good in and of themselves, are like completely different stories when compared to the book. Thank you though.
