Thread: Longest Time You've Been Online

I don't get very much time online but I try to make the best of it. But sometimes you end up getting online and being online for a very long time. Me, if I can remember, I was online for about 6 hours one time, but then again, it gets boring some of the time if you run out of things to do online. When I went to school, I can get in about 1 and a half hour during lunch and when I'm not in class.

So, what was the longest time you've every been online for?

Longest time? I think it was 10-12 hours. Spent most of the time uploading pictures.

Well, I set my own schedule. I'm generally online for at least a couple hours a night. My record has to be 9 hours, though. And that's just because I normally get on at 8 pm Eastern or so, and by 5 am, everyone's gone to sleep. (yeah, I know, I'm on earlier than usual today. See sentence #1).

what is this like the geek's equivilant of a power lifting competition?


that aside, my computer runs online 24/7, the longest i've sat at my computer doing things only is probably 16-18 hours

i think it's about 20 hours when uploading n downloading.

Um, my comptuer is really never offline... Longest i've ever been online... maybe 15-17 hours.

In one sitting?
Over 48 hours (ah, the joys of being at university), only being AFK (Away From Keyboard) to eat, piss, shit and masturbate.

When?
This was in the golden days of stop tazmo, when there was always someone to talk to and if where away for more than a day, you where left so far behind in the threads that it was almost impossible to catch up.

What was I doing?
I was on ST, game spot, OH (IIRC), reading web comics, watching flash animations and just generally pissing about on the net. Oh yeah, there was porn too. =P XD

EDIT: This is not BS, I wouldn't be surprised if people have been on for longer, and yes I am an internet junkie.

wow! lets see from about6 in the morning to 8:30 something pm... thats between 15 and 16 hours (now my friend was on her computer for about 32 hours doing homework the firts 2 hours then watching some of yuyu hakushu and some of inuyasha.... now i still don't think 30 hours alone went through at least half the episodes of each anime!!)

I don't even quialify as competition here. eight hours.
