    I concur. As long as the consequences are not as outrageous as the others members have hoped for. Additionally, any actions taken to edify the child of his actions could be taken from either point of view, yours and mines, although actions taken from your view point is probably more effective than mine. I guess what I am trying to say is that on the topic on the discipline of the child the ends do not justify the means.

    Well, I'm not advocating flaying the kid alive you know. Basically the best thing to do is to make him pay up and then write an article in the local newspaper with the headline "Dumbass kid sticks gum on art", or something to that effect. I would hope that it would also set an example to others, but I guess that's wishing for too much.
