What are y'all reading now?

Just wondering, what book are y'all reading for pleasure at the moment? And what is a book that not many people have heard of that you would recommend?
Example:
I am currently reading Jane Austen's novel, "Persuasion." Yeah, I know that seems kind of girlie a thing to read, but it is a really good story with great character developement.

A book I recommend:

Maybe I like it cause my friends dad was the guy who wrote it, but it has a very compelling story. Most people probably won't like it because there is a lot of Christianity in it, he does tend to preach a little much, but I think that the story more than makes up for it.

So, what about everyone else?

George R. R. Martin's series. Though it is hard to find time to read for pleasure with all the reading for school that I have to do.

the Jedi Academy Trilogy by kevin j. anderson

its a good read with lots of interesting characters, of course all the old ones are there too and they stay true to thier own character. im half way through book 2 and it rocks my world.

I read those books, want me to give away the ending for you?

wuthering heights is so boring and hard to understand because the author gave like some people the same names. gah

Somewhat short, but, still just as damn good as all his other stuff. But really, his obsession with putting massive conspiracies in everything starts to make you paranoid after awhile...

Yeah, but Pride and Prejudice more than makes up for it. My advice, use cliff notes on the other books and quickly scan them, but read P and P cover to cover.
