not always, for example in endless nights, the changing art style represented each of the endless, you know, each artist was trying to get you inside each of their shoes.

Yeah, I forgot about that one...^-^ I really don't remember the individual art styles of each issue any more because I don't own sandman yet... I borrowed it from a friend.

And really is any one reading Lucifer?

I remember that the first volume's art was the hardest to get used to and once you got past that it was really great.

Sandman was one of the greatest stories in comics that i ever read,i need only 6 issues to complete the whole thing. As for the artwork i liked it,its far better than Hellblazers. You should also read Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis,100 Bullets by Azarelo,Alan Moorse Watchmen,V for Vendetta,Promethea,Tom Strong and Leauge of extraordinary Gentlemen.

I think you've missed Kingdom Come as another great comic, but meh.

I've recently read a lot of Warren Ellis' works. They're really enjoyable. I think that his Global Frequency would make an awesome movie if you take it practically panel for panel ala Sin City. The problem is that it'd be disorienting to those who don't know about it. I've also enjoyed Planetary but I can't find the last three issues or so, so that's been annoying.

i have actually read alan mores watchmen, and at the end of it all, a very interesting question: does the end truly justify the means that it is achieved, puts and interesting spin on the idea that truthfulness is a virtue.
