Dear Everyone,
My theory is that detractors of ST are trying the same strategy used in the great intahrnetz wawr of Ebaumz and YTMND a month ago, swamping a site and bogging down the servers. I noticed simliar activities and instances as in the aforementioned posts last night. This is just my hypothesis which isn't based on any concrete proof.
My gratitude for your audience,
Mojo

Does this DDoS attack had anything to do with my incapacity to enter StopTazmo.com a few nights ago? It was like, I tried and tried to enter, and yet it kept displaying a Cannot Find Page.

I hate reviving seemingly dead topics, but it seems only a couple people answered the questions I had asked. Thank you, to the ones who stayed on topic. ^_^ I come off sounding like an arrogant prick, but this is something serious to me.
I still intend on starting this online manga reading/viewing site, also downloading chapters/volumes. I just want to get some feedback from fellow online manga readers. Would you be opposed to a site featuring manga for online reading even if a certain scanlating group does not allow it? I would hate to enter the online anime community in such a bad light, but most of the great mangas out there to read at the moment are licensed, and most of the scanlating groups are hush-hush about it, for the reasons the first two people said.
I understand the whole 'let's hide in IRC!' concept, it seems to work.. somewhat. But what claim do scanlators have to mangas? Sure, they scanlated it, but in no way did they author or produce it. So the only fault I find in doing this is against the creator and publishors of the manga. Which, if I were to start this site, and I were to recieve notices to remove titles/etc... I would immediately obey. I have no wish to start trouble.
Anyways, I notice that many, many sites out there make manga (even licensed) available to download (including our very own StopTazmo
). So, I don't see how making the manga available to read and download would much different.
Anyways, what's your guys' opinions?
