    Seasons of Love!! AWESOME SONG!

I really can't say what's my favorite song. The best choreography is probably the A Vie Boheme. That was so amazing.

@Relf. You should watch it. It's a story about love and lost and living each life to the fullest despite hardships.

@CN: basically, yup. The story line gets more complex though.

Damn. Reading this thread makes me want to go watch Rent and ...Moulin Rouge >.> Last time I went to a musical was when my school had "Guys and Dolls" for the spring term.

OMG I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK!!!! I got it for christmas and listned to it 24/7 for a month! I now know pretty much all the songs by heart haha. The only one I don't like is track 14 on the first disk, Over the Moon. I also thought that was the stupidest part in the movie. I don't really know what to say about the movie itself. I've become hooked on musicals ever since I saw Les Miserables live in 2004. I had no idea what RENT was about when I went to go see it so I don't think I could appreciate it as much as I would now. I'm so glad the movie is finally out on DVD so I can watch it again. I think I'll like it more this time.

I've watched TONS of musicals on video since I was a kid but seeing Les Miserables on stage....I want to do THAT more often. I really want to see Phantom of the Opera. I liked the movie and that soundtrack too! ^_^ Sad to say...I know...but I didn't care too much for Moulin Rouge...I'm not sure why...then again its been a long time since I last saw it. Maybe now that I'm hooked on this stuff I might like it. o.O who knows? Another good one is Chicago! That one has really good songs too. ^_^

Chicago<-- awesome movie!! I really REALLY want to see that on broadway as well. Kinda funny, I saw this movie by accident (X-Men was sold out, so I saw Chicago. hahahaha.) Such a great choice.

Phantom of the Opera<-- I saw that on Broadway for my 16th birthday. That was amazing. I have all their songs too, but I haven't gotten time to see the movie yet.

"Over the moon"<--When I first got that song, I was like "wtf, what's with all this 'moo with me' crap?!" That song is really symbolic, and weird at first to get. After seeing the play, I loved that song. Her hand motions are so funny--you have to see it in order to appreciate it I guess.

Phantom and Chicago are both great. The music is catchy and the movies were pretty good. ^_^ I've never seen the musicals, though.

Over the Moon is a really funny song that DOES make sense when you see it on stage... kinda... but it became one of my favourite songs because of its uniqueness. A number of songs in Rent are a bit stereotypical/cheesy (not bad, though!) but this one is definitely unique.

    eoooonnnnnnn!!! cooommmeee baaccckkk!!!!!!

but yeah, big fan of phantom. I've seen it twice on Broadway. I went to see The Producers on broadway last week, and the show I would most like to see get put on BW is The Scarlet Pimpernel or Camelot.

It's so tempting! Maybe I'll just relax it on occasion....=D

I WANT to go see Phantom on Broadway but my family hates it. Maybe I can convince them to let me go on my own?

I don't know if I want to see Spamalot or not; the movie was perfect as it is.

heheh. I really want to see spamalot. It's still really hard to get tickets.

Youre old enough to go to the city by yourself for a show... (17?)

OOh! I forgot about the Producers. I would like to see it... I heard a lot about it. Story about two guys who are going to raise a shitload of money and than put ona flop play... I think their play is something about Springtime for Hitler, or something funny like that.

And since we're talking about Broadway plays...has anybody seen Wicked yet? I SOOOOOOOOO badly wanna see it, but it's like all sold out. (and I got no money. =D ) It's the story about the Wicked Witch of the West's point of view of The Wizard of Oz. (I think).
