Touchy, touchy. I was ignorant that being called a "Brit" was offensive. My mistake. As recompense, you can call me a "hick" or "redneck," whichever you prefer. Secondly, the Willy Wonka movie is mankind's single greatest achievement since those globes-that-you-shake-and-there's-snow, so anything from that wonderful movie should cheer you up. In fact, I'm going to go dance like an Oompa Loompa right now...

everything that has a beginning has an end... tis the definition... so if you can define the beginning you automatically have the end. but in a more literal and short sighted sense in think the onset of the oil crisis will end life as we know it for a long time until we can get over it.

Anyway, I concur Jakko. I believe that we owe our existence to a superior being that transcends our reality of this materialistic world. And yes, if it seems a little theocentric it is because I am catholic. Also I think the end of the world will come about by the hands of God.

Whether or not you are a believer or an athiest, the thought of evolution, at least micro-evolution, is absurd. I would rather believe in aliens having sex with a rock to make humans than the incomplete, lacking, and illogical theories of evolution that are taught in public schools as a proven truth. hell, there are scientists who aren't christian and yet cannot bring themselves to believe the ludicrous lies of evolution.

I may sound harsh, but I think anyone with half a brain can see through evolution. and you needn't be a biology professor with rocket science skills and can beat everyone in Halo... like me....lol

anyway the world is not getting worse than it was way back when it's just people back in the lets say before the 1800's didn't know about all the crap that was happening around the world they had no way to know that there was some disease killing people a thousand miles away or there was some earthqueake somewhere they never heard about that killed 60 bajillion people...its just that now we know every bad thing thats happening around the world and we aren't as ignorant to the rest of the world as our forfathers thus we think the world is getting worse.

Revalation is just a metaphoric chapter,and humans cant be extinguished,they are almost like roaches,we are the ones that have the fastest adptation to anything that occurs,if begin a glacial era now,many would die,but there will be ones that will survive and adapt to it.and so on forth till the sun goes out,but even when that happens the humans would find a other way around to survive,but we humans are also masoquists,cause we always need a theory for a future extinction od the human race.
