hmm, my ego isnt particularly high, and I can break it at will because of the way I was trained in martial arts. But my confidence is quite high, which I think is different than ego.

for the most part, I would say that martial arts keep people from having an external ego. Either they wont have much of an ego, or they will internalize their high self opinion.

My ego is so big and bloated that it can cover an entire state.
