Thread: Love

Alright, last time I waited for others to reply first and respond accordingly, which ultiimately lead to the failure of the thread, but this time I'll reply first.

I think the word love is taken for granted. Some don't really know what it means and sometimes they use it none the less. I also think that it's something felt between two people. And that it can't be felt only once in a lifetime, I believe that it's something that developes over time between two people.

I know that I'm probably going to get ridiculed by other people because it's quite uncommon for a male to be talking about such a sensitive matter. But anyway, these are just some my veiws on love, what are some of your views. Oh, and please, please try not to digress,flame or spam. Thank you.

Love is more complicated than astrophysics. That's why not many understand. Actually the only way to understand it is just to live under constant exposure to it.

Love is bullshit. It blinds you and turns you into an idiotic lackey of some money-grubbing bitch who pretends to like you simply for the joy of leeching you dry.

That is lust and infatuation, aalix. Don't mix it up with love.

To add to that I just want to say that if someone was in it only for the money then it obviously isn't love, now is it? Sure its sometimes hard to tell if someone truly loves you or is pretending but if they're pretending then its not love. Therefore you can't say that love is bullshit.

Believe it or not but I know quite a few males who do talk about love and all that mushy stuff girls talk about all the time. If anyone ridicules you then they're probably just too afraid to talk about it themselves and think they'll be more "manly" because of that. Love is a serious topic and shouldn't be discussed only among girls. Usually girls tend to like and appreciate males who can talk about this.

as for me, I think that love is the most wonderful thing I have ever experienced. Alas, much of the time it proves to be as much a curse as it is a blessing. But there was never a reward without a risk, right? It is the ultimate form of happiness, in my opinion. ^ ^

Seriously though, I really still believe in love. But the answer to the topic question really depends on the current state the person is in. And right now, I just got burned, so love sucks...
