Myself, I'm directly descended from God, Jesus, the Buddha, Muhammad, and Chuck Norris.

Apart from the fact that my Grandpa was an overseas Chinese who was in exile from the Chinese Main Land and arrived in Thailand some time before the WWII started, everything else are still shrouded in the mist. Since my family only focussed on how to survive, no one actually cared about our history much. Besides, Grandpa himself wouldn't risk, for he fled because of the Mao-ist expansion and maybe was too sensitive to tell everyone about his executed brother or whatever happened to our unknown relatives out there. He normally spoke Chinese and seemed to have been well educated. But for all the bad lucks, he passed away when I was too young to understand a thing.

Recently, I set up on my personal quest for our history and gained nothing but to find out that Grandpa had given me a Chinese name upon my birth [Sui Kyou] and that we actually belong to the Wu clan.

no one really knows where my ancestors on my father's side originated. a few generations back, my ancestor was the one known as the smart one in kagoshima, and everyone would come and ask him for answers to things. also, the family got a lady from outside the island for every son so they could keep the family stable. though before that, it is very severly covered up. my mother says that it may be that they were part of a Heike family that had to cover up their identity after the war.

on my mother's side, apparently my ancestor was a tono-sama of the Nanbu area. that's about all I got. Though I heard that I am probably a reeaal distant relative of the Japanese Emperor.

My family's nothing to talk about, but from like two hundred years or more ago until today, they have always been high-level intelligentsia. Back during the Qing Dynasty, my family had about six successive generations of high-level officials from passing the Confucian exams. I think it was my great-great-grandfather who was the military leader of the Shanghai region. After that we're nothing to scream about, though my great-uncle is a respected professor in China's best university.
Either this man is dead or my watch has stopped.

on babbo's fathers side we basically know nothing about his fathers side cepts someone came over from sweden to America..somtime <_< On his mothers side farthest babbo can reliably go back is around 1645 in the ofunding of babbo's hometown (farmington CT) but babbo's great grandmother always said it went back to the mayflower, which is entirely possible since most of the people form connecticut came from the massechussetts bay colony area <_< anything before America is pretty much a blur though <_<

babbo's mother side came from ireland (spanish point county clare) on her mothers side and that's about all babbo knows her fathers side came from somewhere in england and somewhere from ireland <_< (potato famine) about all babo knows <_<
