Tea is healthy. It calms anxiety and relieves stress. Green tea seems to do that better than most teas. I think there is a myth in China that drinking a certain tea can prolong life.
Black or Red teas have some caffeine, so it's more of a favorite than other teas.
Of course, coffee is best for a quick get-up, but it causes dehydration and possibly kidney problems.

hmm for me i love traditional chinese hot bitter tea ^^ so many kinda, just cant choose.....my parents buy alot of them in these cans so yeah, i just try different ones everyday, i use to like coffee but started getting headaches after drinking....oh yeah, i hate how people disregard the tea and put sugar in it, its insulting to tea.....and teabags are insulting also!

hehe, I started this thread before the nuke... ^ ^

Imma be wishy-washy and say both. I enjoy them both at different times depending on the situation. Though I think I am slightly addicted to coffee after having it every morning before class...

Difficult to choose, for both of them are indeed necessary to make my caffeine guage raised up in the boring afternoon.

If talking preference, mine should be: tea -- especially the iced lemon tea, the very best to refresh myself after tiring hours.
