When I go to an ATM, my debit card does not tell me that because of Bush, the economy is ruined and I have no money.
When I read threads like this, I think to myself 'Another guy who hates bush, but can only think to post it on a forum, on the internet, that already is 99% filled with anti-Bush sentiments'...
Reason I don't take threads like this seriously is because an American, who has a computer, in a sheltered room, with the assurance of his next meal, has posted it, complaining about the 101 things wrong with the US government, then logs off and goes about his happy American life.
I want to see people like you drag yourself down to the whitehouse and organize a sit-in about how Bush is causing you to lose a few pennies a year, while you still take for granted all that you already have in this country.

Point in case, you don't hear immigrants and people who sneak over the border complaining about this kinda stuff...cause they know most of the world has it worse.
You may be new but I love you already. This is just a rant by the uneducated in an attempt to... Oh hell. I don't know what they were trying for but unless it was amusing us they failed. They haven't even taken into account the fact that the economy takes YEARS to change, what bush is doing NOW will only truly show its effects in a few years time. What Bush did in his PREVIOUS term and what the presidents who came before him did, now THAT, THAT you should be bitching about.

I'm pro Bush btw. So if anyone thinks I'm biased, I'm not. It tickles me to know a fellow redneck is in the whitehouse.

I was aware of this and I'm not even american. There's likely some value in having heads up about the imminent collapse of civilization as we know it. It's piled up like a house of cards.

You know...you and I are rare in this country.

I think it might get to the point where punk/emo/gothic/anyothersocialoutcastedlosers will say they are pro bush, because being anti bush is "going with the crowd". haha, makes me laugh when people think they are "rebellious" because they are anti government. that and family guy. man thats a funny show.

Oh, it will certainly prove a problem, but it won't completely torpedo the economy. The US has such a large GDP that a possibility for recovery will always exist.

The question then, is when the government will finally hit the brakes, and if the current trend of spending continues much longer the medicine will be bitter indeed.

Oh really? First of all, if you disagree with another person's opinion you should explain why that person is wrong instead of simply stating that they are.

Secondly, have you even read through this thread?

In other words, people are predicting that the economy will get worse in the future because of Bush & co's fiscal irresponsibility. Either address the point, or admit that you don't know what you're talking about.

Now this is seriously unreasonable and uneducated. No one has argued that everyone in the US will starve on the streets because of Bush's economic policies. However, even the most basic understanding of national economy would tell you that a large national debt is not a good thing. It hampers economic growth, leads to higher taxes, and the interest leeches away money that could be put to better use, such as education or healthcare.

Also, are you seriously arguing that one should not want a responsible economic policy because most of the world is poorer than the US? If so, you really are dumber than you sound.

Um yah, you are right I did not do anything to solve the economic problems. That is because I am not whining about it.

My whole point was that if you have such a big problem about it, meaning you aren't happy with the abundance (shitload) of blessings already in your lap for living in America, then go do something about it, rather than rant on a mesageboard, on the internet where most people already know and hate bush's acts.

I take it that when you have the assurance of other idiots saying "god i hate bush too and where's my fucking dog", you sleep better at night, and so this thread is basicallyt to help you sleep better at night.

If you "want a responsible economic policy", do something about it.
Otherwise, you'll have to put up with "unreasonable and uneducated" people like me.

Lol, he lumped me in with unreasonable and uneducated.

    Hahahhaahhahaha.

Yeah well, your gonna have to put up with this unreasonable and uneducated MOD. I don't like people who just whine (And thats what most of you are doing, I notice you all make SURE to mention Bush and whine some more) and do nothing about the problem. Why don't you email a petition or something about this shit? (Your response, well cause it would be useless, they wouldn't listen etc.. << Not unlike this huh?)

I'd actually like to see a "world economic collapse"/"oil crash" leading to the implosion of civilization as we are familiar with it.

If I really wanted to speed up the process I'd have to be nothing short of godlike to make news stations report on these economic concerns. That would cause the panic needed for a crash now as opposed to a crash later. (There's no monetary profit in that kind of news.) The best thing I can do is "nothing to stop it".

Wow, you really were dumb. Don't you understand that discussing a problem is doing something about it? If other people on the board read this thread and start thinking about the implications of poor economic policies, it might influence them to vote for people who stand for good economic policies. Because, you know, the US is supposed to be a democracy, and discussion about problems is one of its cornerstones.

Now, if you want to contribute anything meaningful to the thread, then be my guest. If you don't I suggest that you stop derailing the discussion.

Martyr... Nataku... let me be clear as a individual... i dont hate bush because hes at war with the wrong country, i dont hate him because he decieved our entire country, i dont hate him because he prioritizes money over life, i dont hate him because he almost failed college, and i certainly dont hate him for helping ruin the economy... its really NOT his fault ...

but i do hate him for NOT helping any of the real problems in the world... he most definitely hasnt done it, Clinton barely did it, his father didnt do it, if he wants to go to war to boost an ailing economy ... go to war in Sudan where tens of thousands of people die every week from a super oppressive government. DO NOT go to war against a country for something thats almost 20 years old!!! Dont go under the pretense that nuclear weapons are in their possession. DO NOT wait months to send aid to YOUR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN in desperate need of it!!! dont proritize by wealth making sure the rich people are instantly cared for and protected by police at all time while MILLIONS of poor folk are rotting and dying in some shitbag stadium ridden with disease and infestatino in 120 degree weather!!! dont fucking LIE to me!!! dont tell me tons of bullshit with that craptastic smirk on your face about how horrrible the world is and how we are the only people capable of rescuing a bunch of fuckers that dont want your help anyway!!! invest billions in alternative energy sources and nuclear energy to stifle the energy crisis and NOT on OIL that guaranteed to be gone in the next decade and drive the prices through the roof just to make a buck!!! invest in HYDROGEN power and replace the 130,000,000 cars on the road with powerful and safe hydrogen vehicles provided with government incentives!!! dont waste fucking money on smarter bullets and more powerful guns!!! build relationships with fucking countries instead of taking them over to get what you want!!! dont DEFY the entire planet just for revenge!!! think shit out first instead of shoot first then kick the dead body for a response that you know will never come then look stupid when his lifeless ass kicks you in the nuts!!!

    ... temporart rant end...
