This is a crazy topic thats bound to start a looong conversation Ill wait for other people to say stuff before I say anything.
This topic is interesting... but I am unsure how to respond...
The soul is probably not physically real but it is a symbol for everything good in us. So, I say it's real. Don't ask why...
Soul is the essence of a living being. It's the property of a living thing that sets it apart from a self-replicating machine.
Actually, primitive and simple organisms don't have souls, since every one of them are automatons, like plants. The higher organisms such as mammals, have definitive intelligence and can react to other intelligent beings.
Souls are real, but not tangible.
i have another question and im really not saying this in a mean way but why are all of these religous question topics comming up? seems like one is really enough on stoptazmo, this isnt the christian hotline guys
Because people are always inquisitive on what the truth and reality of our lives and our places in the world are. Religion seems to have satisfied most people until recently, science started to disprove everything in religion.

To break these down and build up new logic/arguments that are more informed and validated. Many of us find this interesting to debate about. If you dont want to take part, that is your right, but dont tell us that all morality/spirituality/existentialism/etc can all be lumped under religion. because some of us dont feel that way.
