i can honestly say that i would never try online dating
im kinda against it but if i met a girl on facebook i guess thats different but i dont no
I have to say that while I'm all for online friendships, relationships are a bit far. I've been in one, which was more like a friendship because it was years ago (and I'm fifteen - do the math), one friend of mine is so obsessed with hers she's broken promises to others, and the other friend I know cheated with her really nice Internet boyfriend (who she went quite far with before meeting him) for someone who just isn't perfect. Then she got angry at me and Friend 1 for supposedly telling her online boyfriend that she cheated (he dumped her, and was very hurt about what she did). Maybe she got bored or something... but the fact is that you're NOT seeing each other on a daily basis or even at all sometimes, and that means you can't be as close as you can be offline.
It's one thing to meet online and then continue to see each other on a daily basis offline... it's another to carry on an entire, even sexual, relationship without ever meeting the other in person. As I know from experience, it just doesn't work.

That he would, but in Soviet Russia, crime takes bite out of YOU.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.
My future step-aunt and uncle met online.
Well, it's nothing official really yet. Though, I'm positive they're gonna get married soon cause my uncle only shows us the woman he's dead serious about marrying.

ok... the only picture that comes to my mind is one of a man who think he has a gf over the internet, but the gf turns out to be a middle age man...

I saw an article somewhere about some dude who had an "internet relationship" with someone for half a year and it turned out to be his mom playing a joke....
