Otakon 2006
Anyone going/has gone/thinking of going? If this thread falls by the wayside, ill bring it back up again as we get closer to the date. It's early this year.
I guess I'll start. Ive gone the last 4 years, and it has been lots of good fun.
for those who dont know what it is, Otakon is an anime convention held in Baltimore.

Ah, thats a shame. Do you go to any conventions, CN? Its a lot of fun, imo. A whole bunch of my friends get together, drive down, post up in a really cramped hotel room. good times.
I think Otakon is sometime in August this year.

wow... how did I miss that thread? and it looks like Digital Eon was thinking of doing Otakon!! Do it!! its so much fun!!!!
what was the convention you were refering to in NY? and how have I never heard of it? were you talking about Otakon (I think its the biggest one in the US)?

right, i just read thru that thread. and you were. Comic-con... hmm.. I have some reservations about that con (I live in NJ/NY). do you happen to know when that is?
