either you got a penis or you got a vagina. some people have both, but only one works, or neither work. so ya there's only 2 genders period. Just cause a dude wants to mack with another dude doesn't mean he's now a 3rd gender. He's just gay, which is a sexual preference not a gender.

Don't shoot the messenger, I'm just reporting some stuff that I've read. The sexual preference thing was an aside, relating to the gender thing, not a basis for it.

You can have transexuals just as easily as you can women with too much testosterone or men with too much oestrogen. It just comes down to how you choose to define gender. If you think it is only about physical characteristics, then there are only two real genders with the occasional accidental double team.
If you've got a women who truly thinks of herself as a man, regardless of whether or not she is hetro or lesbian, should she still qualify as female?
Is gender not also defined by set gender roles? The man is the hunter gatherer while the woman tends the home? If these gender roles are no longer valid, why should the old basis of gender still be valid?

Gender is defined by physical characteristics, not by what you wish you were. No matter how much a man wants to be a woman, he can only be a man, and vice versa. Honestly only people with too much time on their hands would think of this nonesense.
Yes a woman who thinks she's a man, is still a woman.
Gender is defined by physical characteristics not roles. A man who stays at home cooks and tends to the kids is still a man.
