I just read it and I cannot believe that someone would kill themselves because a particular character that we never actually saw that often was killed off. I think though that this boy must have had other problems and perhaps this was just the final straw that did him in.

Stalin said something along the lines of "One death it's a tragedy. A thousand it's a static".

So he leapt from the apartment building and died and was only found 2 days later? Erm.
