Do I still need USB Disc Security?
My computer have Avira free Antivirus installed, its well updated and seems to do well in protecting my computer, on the other hand I also have USB disc Security.. I installed it because everyone nowadays seem to have it, but its basically useless in my computer. Avira has all the functionality I need to protect my computer from infected usb drives (it has an anti-autorun feature), and aside from that, it detects virus more often and more effective than Usb disc security. The only use I seem to have was checking the autorun list if there are some unusual programs automatically running on my computer, aside from that, nothing more, it doesnt make me feel safe anymore because whenever I make a full scan with avira, it shows a warning that "usb disc security.exe cannot be opened, file is password protected". I dont know why, so, is it really necessary to have it?

No you don't either of those..
In my opinion it's a waste of resources to have virus scanners and such
Also I'm on linux

Not really, you should have an anti-virus on all your computers anyway and to be frank, with a little common sense (don't visit dodgy sites, don't click banned ads, if it sounds too good to be true it is) you should never come across viruses anyway.

I get it... wow, I really didnt notice your answers.. I just saw this when I had this idea of googling my username.. uhm I think it will be great if you can use email notifications..
Hey, thanks for the answer.. and I just noticed.. how did you use your profile picture? I tried uploading my own personal profile picture in this site but it didnt work...
I actually end up removing the usb disc security. I thought avira was enough, afterall it was just a trial version.. didnt really have the money to pay for it... thanks.. your cool..
