Cellphones
Does anyone keep up with cellphone trends? Its the most rapidly changing tech I've ever seen. I got the G1 way back when it first came out and it was the first Android phone and it was fucking amazing, now compared to everything else its just pathetic. I was thinking of switching to Verizon to get the Droid Incredible becacuse I'll never be a sheep and buy an iPhone. Windows Phone 7 looks crazy but I dont think I'll adopt, I love my Zune HD but I like Android's style better and what google is doing way more than anything Apple has done. I truly despise that people think Apple is innovating in any way when all theyre doing is releasing something pretty and just calling it cutting edge. Feel free to disagree -What phone do you have, do you have a smartphone and if you do how do you enjoy it?
I like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.

I have a samsung d900i slide phone, it's not very good but it works, as long as I can make phone calls and send texts I don't really need anything else. I would like a Samsung galaxy s, but I can't justify either the price or the contract and I don't buy a new phone until the old one gives up the ghost.

I got the Cliq XT a couple of months back. It's pretty awesome compared to my Motorola V600, but as a phone in general, it is only "alright."
It's still running 1.5, and the bastards keep putting off releasing 2.1 for it, but seeing how as I've never seen what a 2.1 can do, I'm fairly content with mine the way it is.

I sold my iPhone - hated it. I've ended up with a very basic crappy phone that doesn't even have a camera. I expected my friends to ridicule me for it, but it appears a lot of my friends are thinking of doing the same thing. One of my friends has gone retro; he's got a ten year old Nokia that he thinks is cool.

I have a crappy phone, because I don't want to pay a extra $30 a month for a data plan.

I have a Palm Pre. I really love the WebOS. The Pre is easy to use. I love the card system. It sux that it still doesn't have Flash. My dad and his wife have the Evo. The camera on it is awesome. I cannot figure out how to use it. it is really confusing. One thing I really love about it is that is you increase the font size it automatically changes the column to fit the screen!. The 4G doesn't impress me cuz it isn't available here. I am ambivalent about the screen size. Yeah, it is definitely big, but it just isn't as easy to carry in a pocket or a purse.
I used to have a Samsung Katana. I really liked it. I didn't have a data plan. I just used it for calls and texts. It didn't take me long to get spoiled by the Pre. Need some info? Just jump on the web and look it up. Want a decent pic of something? Camera at the ready.
My sister and both her sons have the new 4G iPhone. But she has money to burn and the boys want & get whatever is newest/coolest.
Check with your carrier. Sprint gives discounts to employees of certain companies. Mine is listed with a 10% discount!

It's kinda outdated compared to data phones, but it does an excellent job when it comes to texting (which is what I do 99% of the time)
My phone:
My phone is an excellent conversation starter. It's a friggin SQUARE. Who the freak has a square phone??
I'm contemplating about getting a data plan type of phone now that I have a job and can afford it... but eck, I guess I'm too lazy to switch.
P.S.
I have sprint. I hate sprint.

Umm i recently got a n97 but i think they are getting old now and the new iphone 4 is taking over...but personally im not really into the iphone.
I have had an old phone for so long because all i did was use it to call and text but then i needed it for more things such as documents, anime of course =], music and so on. So i decided to get the n97 though it has alot of glitches it is still a great phone and really easy to use once you get use to it, also i have kicked in into a wall by accident of course and dropped it numerous times but it still works truly amazing

I feel like I'm in the minority wanting more than just texting and calling, wow, I figured around lil nerds like us the smartphone would reign supreme, nothing like having the Mangastream Andriod App blazing away all the new chapters in class lol.

My first phone is a Nokia. Then I change to Sony Ericssion. I switch to Nokia again for a little while but the Sony Ericssion habit mess up with the keypad so I sitch back. I'm partial to Song Ericssion phone now. Plan to buy a new one since the current phone on the path to brokenville.
