Well, yea, I would argue it's still fresh. It's the biggest thing that's ever hit so close to home and nothing has replaced it to a lot of ppl up here in the north. Sure, there's some pretty crazy fucked up things in the world like disaster in Haiti... but that's still kinda farrrrrrrrr away and not REALLY affecting us except my pockets a bit.Quote:

Yeah, that's right, and the knife is still in the wound. Last I heard, the US and NATO are still in Afghanistan and getting blown up weekly. The link between 9/11 and the ongoing military action may be questionable, but I think many people tie the two together at least on an emotional level.Quote:

Oh dear universe. The center should be built. It was there before the attack, like previously said perhaps not that address, but there non the less. Other states need to stop piggy back riding this issue. Its NYC problem. Also if anyone has visited lower Manhattan as of late there are signs all over the place announcing a prayer service with CHRISTIAN smack in the center and in smaller print another line saying Fight the Mosque. Seriously it isn't the entire religion.
