This thread should be in the tech support section.

But yeah, thats a damn good deal as far as I'm concerened.

Be warned though that i7 is at the very low end of the i7 range, it's a good proccessor in its own right, but its nothing to write home about. The upgrade from i5 to i7 (while beneficial) was probably mostly a marketing ploy (i7 is usually marketed as a flagship highspec processor, but really only the 9xx bloomfields and the gulftown fall into that category (your is a clarksfield)).

In all though its a good laptop at a good price. I'm in the market for a new laptop myself and being in the UK I can only dream of bargains like that.

How many USB port does it have? I would look for at least 3 USB port. 2 is consider straining (one is for the cooler system, which leave you 1 USB port for other thing) since nowadays most PC/notebook appliances uses USB port.

I so wanna pick that post to pieces, but I don't have time.
A quick search leads me to believe it has 4 ports.

Awful resolution for a monitor of that size. Other than that, it's a good deal.

I'd personally go with less RAM and a weaker CPU, something like 4GB with an i5 but a better video card. A 5650 is mediocre at best. NVIDIA's the better choice due to Optimus.

Buying extra USB ports means extra $$ (although it might not cost much) so it's better you have a number of installed USB port already.
