    Default Child Abuse

    A more serious topic.

    Link.

An international children's rights charity has said it has evidence that Palestinian children held in Israeli custody have been subjected to sexual abuse in an effort to extract confessions from them.
There are currently 340 Palestinian children in Israeli jails, mostly convicted of throwing stones.
An Israeli military order stipulates that stone throwing carries a maximum jail sentence of 20 years, and there is no appeals process for decisions by Israeli military courts.
    Moo?

On other news, one of the 9 turks killed in the Flotilla raid had an American citizenship. He was shot 4 times in the head.. I'd like to see how the U.S. media will cover this up... Most of them will at least.

Yeah, this is gonna be one hell of a shitstorm that'll give Israel bad publicity but ultimately, lead to nothing more.

I disagree with the reasons for imposing the blockade, but surely these people should've expected some kind of retaliation for trying to run a blockade. I get that it was wrong, but it shouldn't have come as a surprise.
On the child abuse thing, well, since torture is legal there, I don't guess this should be a surprise either. I guess since Israel is such a high profile ally of the USA, we just expect a bit more.

Another ship from Ireland, the Rachel Corrie, is heading towards Gaza.

(FYI: Rachel Corrie was an American activist who was crushed by an Israeli bulldozer in Ghaza.)

He's not really an American citizen, he was 19 and had been living in Turkey for 17 years. Not that it matters but no ones gonna cover it up, the raid was such an excessive abuse of force even if they had chairs and sticks. Four times in the face is egregious overabuse of force it cant be ignored, never mind the other 8 people that were killed similarly.

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.
I raise a toast to the the souls that sang all along. I've been gathering friends to just to make some sounds,
before the ship goes down, I've been making amends by making the rounds before the whole world ends

    ^ No he wasn't.

The Rachel Corrie was stopped obviously, and no one got hurt (although it was in international waters).

Netinyahu stupidly said "a ship of hate organised by violent Turkish terror extremists"

I don't think I have to explain how lame that is. It shows you how blind they are.

    Edit:

This article by the Irish independent summarizes my point of view.
