What happened with MangaHut?

So, last friday I wanted to upload manga to MangaHut, since they are the only ones who don't resize scanlations, but the site seemed to be slow...

Furthermore, the uploading option was gone and the forum completely deleted... Everyone's accounts have been turned zero, and only one guy (the admin) posted a crude message:

I wanted to reply to this post at MangaHut forums, but it seems that only admins can post on MangaHut forums anymore...

Thank you for giving us your kind support, offering any help you could possibily give in terms of offering uploads,donations,etc.

We aren't going to demand you give us some money as what the site is costing us so far is kinda expensive, but we will greatly appreciate any donation that come our way, no matter how small or big the amount, be it a couple of dollars or tens.

I didn't exactly know what went wrong but found one of the top uploaders of MangaHut now uploading at MangaFox, TheQwertiest

All ex-mods and such who posted in that thread were banned if their posts contained even a little disapproval of Kaiten's actions (e.g. after I've said smth like "I dont understand what are you trying to achieve... Wonder how the site will survive through this..." and yes, there were no explicit words or excessive critique, I was banned with the reason "For being an asshole").

Day 5 - Nowadays: All negative posts about current state of affairs are being removed.

That pretty sums up all info that I've got.

I have a lil question: can I upload your releases to MFox, pleeeeease?

Taking in account the MHut situation, I doubt that any more of your releases will be uploaded there. And that would be really a shame, coz you've scanlated some great series.

There is another option though - http://www.mangatoshokan.com/ - they don't compress pics too, but it's not as popular as MFox and I'm not an uploader there XD.

I know that you don't want your high quality work to be resized to the point where all HQ edits will be unnoticeable, but I want to share those great series with the manga community and MFox's engine is not as compress-aggressive as it was before.

So a lot of things went wrong at MangaHut forums that were mainly conected with the admin there losing his marbles and having a huge god complex...

Hm, is this a joke? Being serious as I never go to MangaHut. This being posted on April 1st has me questioning.

Though if this is real I'm not totally sure how big this is exactly.

anyway, i use onemanga on a daily basis, mangafox for series i can't find, and mangahelpers if i'm curious about latest raws, so this doesn't really affect me. i'd say mangafox has the best UI out of all upload sites, their web developers must be pretty good.

^me too. I usually use Onemanga for online reading. For any other series I use mangatoshokan or mangafox.
Though most of the time I just download it and read it in my pc.

btw is it me or that mangahut guy is trying too hard to sound like an ass.

it was quite surprising what happened. everything seems slow since then.
As vincent and echo said, the idea that he was doing some joke crosed my mind, but this seems to be too much for just a joke

"Only in case" of StopTazmo going to disappear within the next days/weeks/months, ppl should meet at mangatoshokan or jCafe24 forums to restructure...

I think we talked about a fallback option before but never really decided on anything (I vote for jcafe24). I hope ST continues to stay alive but with Kane MIA, who can say for sure?
