How does Google Adsense work with youtube videos?

HI All,

I have about 2,000 subscribers for my youtube videos, and someone I know mentioned something about using Google Adsense on youtube, how does this all work and what do I have to do to get started?

Change starts from within.

Obvious answer - google it.
Adwords takes words entered into search boxes on on web pages and shows adverts that might be relevant. My gmail spam box always has adverts for spam recipes.

EDIT: my adbot detector seems to be broken today.

Well to be fair, this one's a somewhat more intelligent spambot.
