Unlynch R3d, Lynch Mort
I'm touched that you think so highly of me, sakura_hana =P
I will withhold my vote for now.
Ok let me give this a shot. I vote...Sakura_Hana
May you rest in peace.
I vote mort, so we get a tie (or have I miscounted the votes?
(my own PC is down, so I wonŽt be very often on here, but IŽll get on as often as I can)
Damn guys, wait and think before you vote...
Chaos on the first day. Let the good times roll.
Just got woke up after lol amount of CoD MW2
Most first day lynches hits a townie (Actually I don't even remember a game where the first day lynch hit a mafia) so why is everyone so eager to vote? I'm not voting yet.
Hmm a common townie. I like ^^ (I wonder if sakura told dark that I like normal townie roles?)
Regarding the strat.. gotta go. gonna edit this post later
Some questions about the rules:
Do the detectives share a ping, or do they do that independently? I'm guessing it's the first since they know each other, but I definitely wouldn't complain about the second.
Aside from that, do the pings reveal roles completely or just sides? It would be rather inconvenient to lynch the boss after all, it doesn't matter much if it's townie since they can just pm to confirm the role (if any).
Aside from that, I would suggest that the martyr come out and get himself killed, I haven't read up on mafia game algorithms for games of this size, but I think that 4/15 is a bit much for us not to play conservatively.
edit: @vincent, whether it hits a townie or not isn't really relevant, what matters is win probability given the game size, if I recall correctly, it's nearly always best to lynch. My suggestion about the martyr just gives a higher chance of preserving useful roles (while obviously having the unfortunate effect of not killing a mafia member).

what? why?Aside from that, I would suggest that the martyr come out and get himself killed.
The martyr can become a very important sacrifice later on, when he could even be saving the life of a seer. If the martyr manages to contact the 2 seers, we gain much more than if he gets killed now.
Granted, no one else would die that night but still....if we don't lynch anyone today and the mafia kills a townie tonight, we are exactly in the same position as when we would have killed the martyr.
@darkus: does the vote of the Deputy count as two, even if he doesn't want that?
Does he have to pm you the second vote or is the second vote automatically a double of his first?
Does he have to vote in the thread like all other players?

To get the most use out of the martyr he or she has to die sometime during this game. I don't see how he or she can really time this effectively unless we can double lynch (the mafia boss + the martyr negates the double kill).
The seers shouldn't reveal themselves, a proxy the next day would be just as effective, and if the martyr dies today, both seers will definitely survive and tomorrow we'll either get a spokesperson or the seers will have found a mafia member.
