    Default Trying to remember a series

    I randomly checked it out one night, but can't for the life of me remember what it was. About a kid who destroys a shrine to a god and the god offers him power in exchange for what he values most which is his future. There are 3 other people who have this deal with other gods. Anyone heard of it? Know which one it is? This is what I get for not writing it down. Thanks for your help in advance.
