At least scientists are finally taking the threat seriously.

My understanding of zombie biology is that if you manage to decapitate a zombie then it's dead forever.

Hey, science has given us the flamethrower, the chainsaw and the combat shotgun.

They have been preparing the hardware for a good while now.

Yes, of course, because having flaming zombies close to you is better than having regular zombies.

What, you'd eat a zombie raw?

You flame 'em while they're far away. For close-up work we have the trusty chainsaw and the shotgun round to the head.

If you flame a zombie, it should be nicely cooked when it has shambled close enough to chainsaw. Damn, this is some seriously efficient shit right here. I must say that the scientists have outdone themselves.

Zombies don't feel pain.....If you flamethrower them and if they are still running after you I don't think you will be able to swing your chainsaw fast enough to kill it......

The article specified shambling zombies, but even against the running kind, napalm is going to burn away all muscle pretty fast. So naturally you would aim for the legs.

Exactly! Plants are the best way to take out zombies. Especially three-peaters.
